Netflix unveils EDHA trailer and March release date

Netflix is heading to Argentina for its next original series, EDHA, and the streaming giant has now given us a first look at the show as well as a release date.
The dramatic thriller is set in the fashion-conscious city of Buenos Aires, as seen through the eyes of a trendsetting designer, Edha, whose untraditional male model, Teo, becomes her muse. Their savage passion is mingled with his profound desire for revenge.
The 13-episode series, filmed entirely in Argentina, starting in Buenos Aires next year, is written by Daniel Burman, Mario Segade and Oficina Burman’s writers room.
“Netflix’s invitation to create its first original series in Argentina represents one of the largest opportunities in my career. We are creating a project with a strong local identity to reach a global audience. In one platform, more than 81 million people will have the chance to establish an intimate connection with our story,” says Burman.
The result will premiere worldwide on Netflix on Friday 16th March. Here’s a trailer:

Netflix is heading to Argentina for its next original series.
Edha, created by Daniel Burman, will be the streaming giant’s first Argentine production. The thriller, set in the world of fashion, modeling and music, will dive into a world of “dark secrets” and “overpowering attractions”.
The 13-episode series, filmed entirely in Argentina, starting in Buenos Aires next year, is written by Burman, Mario Segade and Oficina Burman’s writers room and will follow the life of Edha, a young, successful fashion designer and single mother at a crossroads that could change her life forever. As she struggles to make a decision that will take her to a whole new level in the fashion world, she meets a handsome immigrant turned model. Their savage passion is mingled with his profound desire for revenge.

Edha joins a growing slate of other Netflix original series produced in Latin America, such as Club de Cuervos, Ingobernable, Narcos, 3% and an untitled project by Jose Padilha, based on the current events in Brazil.
