Marvel’s Eternals heads to Disney+ this January

Marvel’s Eternals is heading to Disney+ UK this January.
Directed by Nomadland helmer Chloé Zhao, the film follows the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s newest team of superheroes. Originating from beyond the stars, these Eternals have protected the Earth since the dawn of man. When monstrous creatures called the Deviants, long thought lost to history, mysteriously return, the Eternals are forced to reunite in order to defend humanity once again.
The ensemble cast includes Gemma Chan as humankind-loving Sersi, Richard Madden as the all-powerful Ikaris, Kumail Nanjiani as cosmic-powered Kingo, Lia McHugh as the eternally young old-soul Sprite, Brian Tyree Henry as the intelligent inventor Phastos, Lauren Ridloff as the super-fast Makkari, Barry Keoghan as aloof loner Druig, Don Lee as the powerful Gilgamesh, with Kit Harington as Dane Whitman, with Salma Hayek as the wise and spiritual leader Ajak, and Angelina Jolie as the fierce warrior Thena.
The film is produced by Kevin Feige and Nate Moore and exec-produced by Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso and Kevin de la Noy. The screen story is by Ryan Firpo and Kaz Firpo and the screenplay is by Chloé Zhao and Chloé Zhao and Patrick Burleigh and Ryan Firpo and Kaz Firpo. After its release in cinemas this summer, the film will premiere on Disney+ on 12th January as part of a standard £7.99 a month subscription.
The film joins 13 other MCU movies now streaming in IMAX Enhanced on Disney+, which gives subscribers more picture with an expanded aspect ratio at home. You can read more about that here.
