Watch: Spaghetti scene from Disney+ The Lady and the Tramp remake

Now that we have a confirmed Disney+ release date in the UK, Disney fans can get back to one of the other important questions surrounding the new streaming site: just how creepy will its live action remake of The Lady and the Tramp look?
We’ve got our best idea yet this week, thanks to two new clips, including one featuring the iconic spaghetti scene from the animated classic.
The film, which will premiere on Disney+, once again tells the story of a pampered cocker spaniel, whose comfortable life slips away once her owners have a baby. When, after some tense circumstances, Lady finds herself on the loose and out on the street, she is befriended and protected by a tough stray mutt. A romance begins to blossom between the two dogs, but their many differences threaten to keep them apart.
Community’s Yvette Nicole Brownwill stars as Aunt Sarah in the movie, joined by the voices of Tessa Thompson as Lady, Justin Theroux as Tramp, Sam Elliott as Trusty and Ashley Jensen as Jackie. Charlie Bean (The LEGO Ninjago Movie, Tron Uprising) is directing from a script by Andrew Bujalski. The end result will premiere on Disney+ on 12th November in the USA, and will be available in the UK on 31st March 2020, when the service launches on British soil.

Disney has unveiled its latest live-action remake in the form of The Lady and the Tramp.
The animated gem from 1955 will become the latest Disney classic to receive the live-action treatment, once again telling the story of a pampered cocker spaniel, whose comfortable life slips away once her owners have a baby. When, after some tense circumstances, Lady finds herself on the loose and out on the street, she is befriended and protected by a tough stray mutt. A romance begins to blossom between the two dogs, but their many differences threaten to keep them apart.

The film will be available on Disney+ when it launches on 12th November in the US – but, at present, not in the UK. Whether it will be available via existing UK subscription service DisneyLife or even Sky Cinema, which has a deal with Disney in the UK, is not yet clear.
