Emilia Clarke is in final talks to join the cast of Marvel series Secret Invasion at Disney+.
The show will see Samuel L Jackson and Ben Mendelsohn reunite after Captain Marvel for a small-screen adventure, as former SHIELD director Nick Fury and Talos team up to investigate a faction of shapeshifting Skrulls who have been infiltrating Earth for years.
The show is one of many Marvel projects in the works at Disney+, as the House of Mouse races to expand the Marvel Cinematic Universe. While Jackson and Mendelsohn reprising their roles from Captain Marvel is reason enough to attract fan attention, the series has been rapidly building up an impressive, star-studded cast list, including Kingsley Ben-Adir (One Night in Miami, The OA) and Olivia Colman (The Favourite).
Now, Game of Thrones star Emilia Clarke is reportedly in final negotiations to join them. Clarke is no stranger to the Disney world, having previously starred in Solo: A Star Wars Story.

On the small screen, he’s most recently impressed in Soulmates, High Fidelity, Peaky Blinders and The OA. Now, he’s been snapped up by Marvel for its upcoming crossover event series Secret Invasion.
