Keeping Up with the Kardashians is coming to Netflix UK for the first time this summer.
Netflix has been stepping up its reality TV game in the past year, proving that it can deliver hits such as Love Is Blind and Too Hot to Handle alongside its own localised version of Channel 4’s The Circle. Now, it’s upping its catalogue with the daddy of them all: Keeping Up with the Kardashians. The series, which airs on E! cable network in the US, follows sisters Kim, Kourtney and Khloé, who, with tough-loving support from mom Kris, became international celebrities.
Over the years, the show has continued to return to the Kardashian-Jenner clan, giving an insight into their personal lives and revealing family and relationship secrets to fans. Now in its 18th season, that’s more than 256 episodes of Kardashian gossip, not to mention spin-offs such as Kourtney and Kim Take Miami and even Flip It Like Disick, which follows the real estate career of Kourtney’s occasionally boyfriend, Scott Disicki.
Keeping Up with the Kardashians airs its latest episodes in the UK exclusively on hayu, NBC’s standalone subscription platform dedicated to reality TV. Now, though, Netflix has nabbed the rights to its earlier seasons, taking reality TV viewers back to the beginning of their on-screen stardom, when the series featured some of its most well-known moments.
Season 1 and 2 will arrive on Netflix UK on 1st June – and, judging by the response to Netflix’s announcement on social media, will likely prove as divisive there as they always have been.
They arrive alongside several other reality TV classics, including The Real Housewives of Atlanta, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and The Real Housewives of New York City.
Keeping Up with the Kardashians is available on Netflix UK, as part of an £9.99 monthly subscription.
