Jerry Seinfeld is returning to Netflix this May with a new stand-up comedy special.
Called 23 Hours to Kill, it once again showcases Seinfeld’s sharp angles on everyday life, uncovering comedy in the commonplace. The hour-long show was recorded at the Beacon Theatre in New York City, where Seinfeld had a residency before the coronavirus pandemic led to the venue’s closure.
The special marks the comedian’s second for Netflix, after Jerry Before Seinfeld last which, a retrospective of his career that was his first special in 20 years. The comic’s since signed a deal with Netflix, including two stand-up specials and episodes of Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee.
