Glass smashes the competition in UK film chart

Glass smashed the competition this week, climbing to the top of the UK’s Official Film Chart – the only weekly chart in the world to count both physical disc and digital download sales.
The final instalment of M. Night Shyamalan’s anti-superhero trilogy, Glass brings back characters from Unbreakable and Split, Glass sees David Dunn (Bruce Willis) pursuing Kevin Wendell Crumb (James McAvoy), with Mr. Glass (Samuel L. Jackson)in between.
Glass’ release on DVD and Blu-ray this week sees Bumblebee knocked off the Number 1 spot for a second time, landing at Number 2, just ahead of How To Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World, which flew to Number 3 on digital downloads only.
Mary Queen Of Scots advances four places to Number 4, Bohemian Rhapsody drops one to Number 5, and The Secret Life Of Pets jumps four spots to Number 6 following its sequel’s release in cinemas.
Mary Poppins Returns is down two at Number 7, The Favourite tumbles six places to 8 and Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse lands at Number 9. Finally, Lancaster Skies is this week’s second new entry at Number 10. A broken, solitary Spitfire ace must overcome his troubles to lead a Lancaster bomber crew in the pivotal 1944 aerial war over Berlin.
