Genndy Tartakovsky’s Primal heads to All 4

Genndy Tartakovsky’s Primal is coming to All 4 this January, finally giving a UK TV release to the hit US series.
Tartakovsky is one of the most exciting animators working today, having created such modern classics as Dexter’s Laboratory and Samurai Jack, as well as Star Wars: Clone Wars.
Prime is a new and visually powerful epic that follows the adventures of a caveman at the dawn of evolution and a T-Rex on the brink of extinction. Bonded by tragedy, this unlikely friendship becomes the only hope of survival in a violent, primordial world.
Dramatically illustrated and with no dialogue, the show has released five episodes to date, with its first season comprising 10 episodes. (A feature-length version of the series was also submitted in the Animated Feature Film category at the Academy Awards.)
Those first five episodes will be available to stream for free on All 4 from 17th January 2020. The second half of the season is expected to be released later in 2020.
The series comes to All 4 as part of Channel 4’s ongoing partnership with Adult Swim, which already includes other animated box sets such as Mr. Pickles, Rick and Morty and Samurai Jack.
Charlie Palmer, Managing Editor of All 4 says: “We have curated a rich collection of animation on All 4 and, with the help of our partners Adult Swim, are proud to bring Genndy Tartakovsky’s Primal exclusively to the UK. US audiences and critics loved it, so I can’t wait for UK viewers to see just how brilliant it is.”
