Trailer: Sky Cinema’s To Olivia set for February release

Hugh Bonneville is headed to Sky Cinema this February in To Olivia, a new biopic of Roald Dahl – and a new trailer gives us a first look at him in action as the beloved author.
The film, which co-stars Keeley Hawes (Bodyguard, Honour) as his wife, American actress Patricia Neal, is based on a true story. It’s 1962 and Roald Dahl, an eccentric, burgeoning children’s author and his wife, Patricia Neal, a glamorous Hollywood movie star, have retreated to the English countryside to bring up their expanding young family. Tragically, their lives are turned upside down by the devastating death of their daughter Olivia and as the couple struggle through the unimaginable loss, their shared grief becomes a source of redemption and strength which changes their lives forever.
The cast also includes Sam Heughan (Outlander), Geoffrey Palmer (Paddington) and Conleth Hill (Game of Thrones). The film is directed by John Hay (Lost Christmas, There’s Only One Jimmy Grimble) and co-written by John Hay and David Logan.
It will be released in cinemas and on Sky Cinema in February 2021. Here’s the trailer:

Hugh Bonneville will play Roald Dahl in To Olivia, Sky Cinema’s new original film, and a new image gives us a first look at him as the iconic author.
The film, which co-stars Keeley Hawes (Bodyguard, Honour) as his wife, American actress Patricia Neal, is based on a true story.
