Daredevil Season 2 is just a few days away, but in case you weren’t fully frothing at the mouth, Netflix has released one last trailer for the show.

“This war is bigger than everyone,” growls Stick, as we’re treated to a montage of Things Getting Bad, from explosions and a whole bunch of ninjas to motorbike chases and ninjas. Did we mention the ninjas?

All of that and we haven’t even got to Frank Castle, aka. The Punisher, Jon Bernthal’s new big bad on the streets, who isn’t afraid to take justice into his own – very violent – hands. And, of course, Elektra, an old flame from Matt’s past, from whom he appears to hide very little, especially his fighting abilities. Just how much do they know about each other?

“If you get in my way, I’ll kill you too,” she tells him in the trailer, because that’s the kind of world Matt Murdock lives in, where even romantic interests want to beat each other up.

The result is one final glimpse of a darker, grittier Hell’s Kitchen, as Daredevil Season 2 prepares to go one step further in its exploration of justice and revenge. Now, we were talking about ninjas?

All 13 episodes of Daredevil Season 2 arrive on Friday 18th March on Netflix. Here’s the video:
