The acclaimed US sitcom The Other Two is coming to E4 this spring.
The series, acquired by Channel 4 in a new deal with Viacom International Studios, follows siblings Cary (Drew Tarver – Bajillion Dollar Propertie$) and Brooke (Helene Yorke – Family Guy, The Good Fight), who are trying to find their place in the world. Cary is an aspiring actor, struggling to find roles beyond “Man At Party Who Smells Fart”. Meanwhile Brooke, a former professional dancer, is just trying to work out what she’s even doing with her life.
It’s all just become a little more complicated, as their 13-year-old brother Chase (Case Walker) has found sudden internet fame as “ChaseDreams”, a teen pop sensation. With Hollywood-ready mother Pat (Molly Shannon – Other People, Talladega Nights) and newly-hired manager Streeter (Ken Marino – Brooklyn 99, Wanderlust), Cary and Brooke are going to work hard to simultaneously cash in on their brother’s success and help him as he grows up in a mad new world.
The wickedly funny satire of the entertainment industry is a cynically witty look at fame and a heartfelt story about success and belonging. The Other Two was created and produced by Emmy-nominated duo Chris Kelly and Sarah Schneider (SNL). It was also executive produced by Lorne Michaels (SNL), Andrew Singer (30 Rock) and Tony Hernandez (Search Party, Broad City). It was produced by Broadway Video and Jax Media.
As well as airing on E4, the whole series will be released as a box set on All 4. Watch this space for a confirmed release date as soon as we have it.
