The Flash will be available to watch online in the UK from Tuesday 28th October.
The Flash is the latest acquisition from Sky 1 HD, along with another Warner Bros. TV show, Forever.
Sky customers will be able to watch the show online through Sky On Demand. For those without Sky, though, The Flash will be available to stream live on NOW, as part of an Entertainment Membership. The pass, which gives access to Sky TV channels, both live and on-demand, costs £6.99 per month, no contract, including shows such as The Walking Dead, American Horror Story: Freak Show and Arrow Season 3.
From the executive producers (Greg Berlanti, Andrew Kreisberg) and creative team behind hit series Arrow – also shown on Sky 1 in the UK – The Flash follows the high-speed adventures of the fastest man alive.
Central City Police scientist Barry Allen (Grant Gustin, GLEE) has been standing still emotionally since the day his mother was murdered and his father unjustly jailed for the crime. But when an unexpected and devastating accident at the S.T.A.R. Labs Particle Accelerator facility strikes Barry, he finds himself suddenly charged with the incredible power to move at super speeds. Barry sets out to use his newfound superhero powers to stop crime. Working alongside his adopted father Detective West (Jesse L. Martin), Barry uses his superhuman abilities to help the people of Central City and stop the rogues’ gallery of villains, many of whom have also been altered by the particle accelerator explosion.
Adam MacDonald, Director of Sky 1 HD, comments: “The Flash is a natural partner to Arrow and is sure to be popular with families who are fans of the comic book format and the mesmerising otherworldly drama, Forever, completes a double of quality series that I’m proud to be airing on the channel.”
