“Nothing in this file adds up…” That’s the sound of a conspiracy being exposed in The Terminal List, and a new trailer gives us a proper glimpse of Amazon’s thriller in action.
Based on the best-selling novel by Jack Carr and written by showrunner David DiGilio, the series stars Chris Pratt as a former Navy SEAL who investigates why his entire operation unit was ambushed during a do-or-die mission. Helping him and hindering him is a cast that includes Constance Wu, Taylor Kitsch, Riley Keough, Jai Courtney and Patrick Schwarzenegger.

Amazon unveils new images of The Terminal List

Amazon has unveiled new images of The Terminal List giving us a first look at the star-studded ensemble cast in action.
Based on the best-selling novel by Jack Carr and written by showrunner David DiGilio, the eight-part series follows James Reece (Chris Pratt) after his entire platoon of Navy SEALs is ambushed during a high-stakes covert mission. Reece returns home to his family with conflicting memories of the event and questions about his culpability. However, as new evidence comes to light, Reece discovers dark forces working against him, endangering not only his life, but the lives of those he loves.
In addition to Pratt, the series stars Constance Wu, Taylor Kitsch, Jeanne Tripplehorn, Riley Keough, Arlo Mertz, Jai Courtney, JD Pardo, Patrick Schwarzenegger, LaMonica Garrett, Stephen Bishop, Sean Gunn, Tyner Rushing, Jared Shaw, Christina Vidal, Nick Chinlund, Matthew Rauch, Warren Kole, and Alexis Louder, among others.

Chris Pratt is returning to Amazon Prime Video after The Tomorrow War for The Terminal List – and a new image gives us a look at the eight-party thriller.
The series is based on the bestselling novel by Jack Carr, a former Navy SEAL and Special Ops team leader. It follows James Reece (Pratt), a Navy SEAL whose platoon is ambushed during a high-stakes secret mission. Reece returns home to his family with conflicting memories of the event and questions about his responsibility for what happened, but as new evidence comes to light, a conspiracy emerges that puts him and his family in danger.
In addition to Pratt, the series stars Constance Wu as Katie Buranek, a war correspondent, Taylor Kitsch as Reece’s best friend, Ben Edwards, a former SEAL who is now at the CIA, Riley Keough as Lauren Reece, James’ wife and an elite triathlete, plus Jeanne Tripplehorn, Arlo Mertz, Jai Courtney, JD Pardo, Patrick Schwarzenegger, LaMonica Garrett, Stephen Bishop, Sean Gunn, Tyner Rushing, Jared Shaw, Christina Vidal, Nick Chinlund, Matthew Rauch, Warren Kole, and Alexis Louder.

Riley Keough is the latest star to join The Terminal List, Amazon’s conspiracy thriller.

Chris Pratt bagged the rights to the book and took it to director Antoine Fuqua, who helmed the remake of The Magnificent Seven that starred him. As well as directing, Fuqua will exec-produce alongside Pratt and writer David DiGilio (Strange Angel), who serves as showrunner.

Now, they’ve got some company, with Keough set to co-star as Lauren Reece, James’ wife and an elite triathlete who has balanced her career with raising their daughter and providing support to other platoon families. Keough is no stranger to Amazon Studios, with one of her next roles being Amazon series Daisy Jones & the Six. She joins Mrs America’s Jeanne Tripplehorn, who has also been cast in the show as Lorraine Hartley, the first female Secretary of Defense.

Kitsch, who is best known for his roles in Friday Night Lights and True Detective, will play Reece’s best friend, Ben Edwards, a former SEAL who is now at the CIA and uses his intelligence access and operator skill set to help Reece.
Wu, who starred in Fresh Off the Boat, Hustlers and Crazy Rich Asians, will play Katie Buranek, a war correspondent with a drive of speaking truth to power. Katie left her desk at a prestigious news outlet to pursue stories on her own terms, but finds an unlikely ally in Reece and aims to help him bring the truth about the conspiracy to light.

Chris Pratt is returning to TV for new Amazon thriller The Terminal List.
Pratt, who has starred in multiple Marvel movies and the newly revived Jurassic Park franchise, became a household name on the small screen, with his role as Andy Dwyer on Parks and Recreation. Now, as the cast of the NBC sitcom have reunited for a charity special during the coronavirus pandemic, Pratt is also eyeing a return to TV for the first time in several years.
The conspiracy thriller is based on the bestselling novel by Jack Carr, a former Navy SEAL and Special Ops team leader. Deadline reports that Pratt bagged the rights to the book, taking it to director Antoine Fuqua, who helmed the remake of The Magnificent Seven that starred Pratt.
They took it to MRC, whose joint TV venture with UTA, Civic Center Media, will now produce the programme with Amazon Studios. Fuqua, who is no stranger to streaming after the recent debut of his Quibi series Free Ray Shawn, will exec-produce alongside David DiGilio (Strange Angel) and Pratt.
