Canada’s Drag Race Season 2: Meet the Queens
David Farnor | On 10, Dec 2021
RuPaul’s Drag Race is returning to Canada this December, and BBC Three will once again be the UK TV home of the contest.
Following the success of Season 1, a host of new Queens will compete to become Canada’s next Drag Race Superstar. Over 10 weeks, the 12 Queens will face challenges in singing, dancing, acting, impersonation, costume making and improvisation, in attempts to prove their drag race prowess. Hoping to impress the judges, they will do their best to avoid being one of the bottom two Queens facing a lip sync for their life and elimination from the competition.
OG judge Brooke Lynn Hytes will be joined on the panel by a line-up of entertainment industry experts, including Brad Goreski, Amanda Brugel, and Traci Melchor, as well as a celebrity guest each week.
Season 2 will drop as a 10-part box set all at one on BBC iPlayer on 17th December. It will also be joined by an anniversary episode: Canada’s First Drag Superstar, Priyanka, looking back at all the highlights of Season 1.
In the meantime, get to know this year’s queens:
