Average Height, Average Build: Netflix nabs Adam McKay’s new comedy

Netflix has landed Adam McKay’s latest star-studded comedy, Average Height, Average Build, reports Deadline.
The film, from the Don’t Look Up and The Big Short writer-director, will once again follow a darkly comic scenario that takes satirical jabs at the modern world. In this case, a serial killer who enlists a lobbyist to change the law so that it’s easier for him to get away with murder.
Joining McKay for the ride will be Robert Pattinson, Amy Adams, Robert Downey Jr, Forest Whitaker and Danielle Deadwyler. Pattinson will play the killer, with Adams playing the lobbyist, while Downey Jr will play a retired cop trying to solve the killings.
McKay will direct and also produce under his Hyperobject Industries banner, alongside Kevin Messick.
He will also be reuniting with Netflix for the project, after Don’t Look Up became the streamer’s secnod most popular film of all time, with almost 360 million hours viewed in the first 28 days following its release. It also picked up four Oscar nominations, including Best Picture, and won Best Original Screenplay at the Writers Guild of America Awards.
