“We’re going to be OK.” “Way to aim low, mum. We’re going to be spectacular.” That’s the sound of Moana’s Auli’i Cravalho heading to Netflix this summer for All Together Now.
Cravalho plays Amber Appleton, who remains an optimist even when her personal life is far less stable than it appears on the surface. A musically gifted high school student with aspirations to attend Carnegie Mellon, Amber balances work, life, and some tough life secrets with a smile. But when new obstacles present themselves that threaten her dreams, Amber must learn to lean on the strength of her chosen family to move forward.
Directed by Brett Haley (All The Bright Places, Hearts Beat Loud) and based on Matthew Quick’s novel Sorta Like a Rock Star, All Together Now arrives on Netflix on 28th August. Here’s the trailer:
All Together Now is available on Netflix UK, as part of an £9.99 monthly subscription.

Carol Burnett and Fred Armisen are among the names joining Netflix’s Sorta Like a Rock Star, as the film rounds out its cast.
Golden Globe and Emmy Award winner Burnett, Armisen (Los Espookys, Big Mouth), Rhenzy Feliz (Runaways, Casual), Justina Machado (One Day At A Time, Queen of the South), Judy Reyes (Claws, Succession), Gerald Isaac Waters (Angie Tribeca), Taylor Richardson (Slender Man, Rise), and Anthony Jacques (Atypical) have all joined the movie, alongside the previously announced Auli’i Cravalho (Moana).
