Michelle Yeoh is heading to Disney+ this May for American Born Chinese, and a new trailer gives us a first look at the series.

Based on the genre-hopping graphic novel by Gene Luen Yang, the show tells the story of Jin Wang, an average teenager juggling his high school social life with his home life. When he meets a new student on the first day of the school year, even more worlds collide as Jin is unwittingly entangled in a battle of Chinese mythological gods.

Yeoh stars alongside Ben Wang, Yeo Yann Yann, Chin Han, Ke Huy Quan, Jimmy Liu, Sydney Taylor and Daniel Wu. You can see them in action on 24th May, when all episodes premiere at once. Here’s the trailer:
