All In: Amazon takes on The Fight for Democracy
David Farnor | On 18, Aug 2020
Amazon is going all in on the fight for democracy this September, with a new documentary shining a spotlight on the question of voter suppression in the USA.
In anticipation of the 2020 presidential election, the film examines the often overlooked, yet insidious issue. It interweaves personal experiences with current activism and historical insight to expose a problem that has corrupted American democracy from the very beginning. With the perspective and expertise of Stacey Abrams, the former Minority Leader of the Georgia House of Representatives, the documentary offers an insider’s look into laws and barriers to voting that most people don’t even know is a threat to their basic rights as citizens of the United States.
Directed by Lisa Cortes and Liz Garbus, the film hits US cinemas on 9th September, before coming to Amazon Prime Video globally on 18th September. Here’s the trailer:
All In: The Fight for Democracy is available to watch online on Amazon Prime Video as part of a Prime membership or a £5.99 monthly subscription.
