The Originals joins The Vampire Diaries on All 4

Earlier this year, All 4 snapped up the rights to The Vampire Diaries – and now, it’s sinking its teeth into The Originals as well.
The Vampire Diaries, starring Nina Dobrev (Elena Gilbert), Ian Somerhalder (Damon Salvatore) and Paul Wesley (Stefan Salvatore), tells the story of two vampire brothers obsessed with the same beautiful girl in a small town where supernatural beings live in secret amongst its residents. As the series begins, brothers Stefan and Damon Salvatore return to their hometown of Mystic Falls, Virginia, for very different reasons.
The programme ran for eight seasons, from 2009 to 2017. In 2013, The Originals arrived on our screens, following the Original vampire family and the dangerous vampire/werewolf hybrid, Klaus (Joseph Morgan), who returns to the magical melting pot that is the French Quarter of New Orleans – a town he helped build centuries ago. Acting on a mysterious tip that a plot is brewing against him, Klaus’ questions lead him to a reunion with his diabolical former protégé, Marcel, a charismatic vampire who has total control over the human and supernatural inhabitants of the Crescent City.
Determined to help his brother Klaus find redemption, Elijah follows Klaus and soon learns that Hayley, a former flame of Klaus’ who is in the city investigating her family history, has fallen into the hands of a powerful witch named Sophie. Elijah is soon forced to side with Marcel’s enemies in order to keep Klaus in line and to help Hayley. Meanwhile, Klaus and Elijah’s sister, Rebekah, must decide if she will leave Mystic Falls to join her brothers in New Orleans and help them to reclaim their storied hometown.
The cast includes Joseph Morgan (Klaus), Daniel Gillies (Elijah) and Claire Holt (Rebekah), with several characters from The Vampire Diaries making guest appearances across the show’s five seasons. You can see every episode of both programmes for free on All 4 now.

All 4 has snapped up the rights to The Vampire Diaries.

The teen drama stars Nina Dobrev (Elena Gilbert), Ian Somerhalder (Damon Salvatore) and Paul Wesley (Stefan Salvatore). It went onto become a hit and won 39 awards including multiple Teen Choice Awards and People’s Choice Awards. The series also produced a spin-off series, The Originals.
Now, all eight seasons of the show are available on All 4, where it joins other teen box sets, including The OC, Party Of Five and Charmed. The Origjnals will also be available on All 4 from March.
