Where can I watch Mad Men online in the UK (legally)?

It’s hard to believe that Don Draper’s time is up, with Mad Men’s final season now a distant memory. Perhaps the only thing that’s harder to believe is that someone isn’t up to speed with the ad men from Madison Avenue at all.

The AMC series, which was one of the first TV shows in the current era of prestige drama, remains a jewel in the crown for any broadcaster, thanks to its many awards and starry cast – including Jon Hamm, January Jones, Vincent Kartheiser, Elisabeth Moss, Christina Hendricks, John Slattery, Aaron Staton and Kiernan Shipka. The series explores the glamorous and ego-driven “Golden Age” of advertising, where everyone is selling something and nothing is ever what it seems. And no one plays the game better than Don Draper (Hamm), Madison Avenue’s biggest ad man – and ladies’ man – in the business.

Jon Hamm’s slick salesman, Don, first turned up in 2007, but Sky Atlantic quickly snapped up the rights from the BBC, making it harder to catch up with the goings-on of Sterling Cooper Draper Pryce. Then, Netflix stepped in to stream AMC’s drama for a reported $1 million per episode. But now, Amazon has nabbed the rights to all seven seasons, which means the whole 92 episodes are available to stream with an Amazon Prime membership (£7.99 a month) or an Amazon Prime Video subscription (£5.99 a month).

With the whole show also available to buy and download on pay-per-view services, there’s no excuse not to hang out with Don, Peggy and the team.
