What’s coming soon to All 4 in December 2019?

2019 has been an impressive year for All 4, as Channel 4’s streaming platform has stepped up its box set acquisitions – including ER, Freaks and Geeks, The Shield and 30 Rock – added Adult Swim to its line-up, including the exclusive premiere of Rick & Morty Season 4 (arriving weekly on Wednesdays), plus continued to showcase the best drama from around the world on Walter Presents.
The end of the year is no different, with an eclectic mix of adult animation and international drama to keep you entertained on the long, dark winter nights. Here’s what’s coming to All 4 in December 2019:
Adult Swim: Joe Pera Talks with You: Christmas Special – 6th December
Joe Pera, a beloved choir teacher, discusses topics of interest in this live-action comedy series. It’s Christmas and Joe is providing the information necessary to choose the perfect Christmas Tree for you. Species covered will include the Fraser Fir, Balsam Fir, Douglas Fir, White Spruce, Blue Spruce, Grand Fir, Noble Fir, Scotch Pine, and the Concolor Fir.
Adult Swim: Mr Pickles: Momma Named Me Sheriff – 6th December
The idyllic looking Old Town is home to the Goodman family. Six-year-old Tommy Goodman loves his dog Mr Pickles, but what Tommy doesn’t know is that Mr Pickles has a murderous evil streak. This season finale is followed by a new spin-off set in the same world – Momma Named me Sheriff.
Walter Presents: A Very Scandi Scandal – 6th December
Jenny Bengtsson and Cecilia Svensson are two women in their sixties living a completely normal middle-class life in the Swedish town of Kalmar. But when they both realize that their futures are looking anything but bright, they decide to do something drastic – rob the Bank of Stockholm’s Karlaplan branch in Stockholm.
Walter Presents: Alex: Season 2 – 8th December
When a corrupt cop decides to go straight after having accidentally shot his partner, he must first get dirtier than ever as the gangsters he used to work for go after his family, while his new partner, a by the book careerist, is out to get him. The first season is now streaming on All 4.
Walter Presents: The Blood Pact: Season 1 – 13th December
What if your youngest daughter befriends the daughter of a dangerous criminal? And when you pick up your daughter from her friend’s house and the criminal gets shot at, you save his life? What if he thinks you are his best friend from then on? What if you better not be seen with him because of your high position? Then you’re stuck.
Hampstead – 18th December
A romantic drama based on the true story of Harry Hallowes, who built a small shelter on a patch of Hampstead Heath and found himself battling for the right to live there legally. Brendan Gleeson stars as the chief protagonist – now known as Donald – and Diane Keaton as the well-to-do American widow and Hampstead homeowner who’s sympathetic to his plight.
Adult Swim: The Eric Andre New Year’s Eve Spooktacular – 20th December
Likely the world’s most inept and violent host, Eric Andre hosts with the help of Hannibal Buress and some of his comedian friends who fill in as budget versions of stars. In this New Year special, Eric takes the show in front of a live studio audience.
Daddy’s Home 2 – 21st December
This sequel to 2015’s Daddy’s Home finds former rival-dads Mark Wahlberg and Will Ferrell now sharing co-parenting duties. However, this friendly new set-up is about to be challenged when their own fathers come home for the holidays. Mel Gibson and John Lithgow play the fathers of Wahlberg and Ferrell respectively, with any hope of harmony dashed when the extended clan head off to spend Christmas in a cabin.
Office Christmas Party – 23rd December
Elaborate corporate festivities spiral out of control in this comedy from the directors of Blades of Glory, Josh Gordon and Will Speck. Colleagues T. J. Miller and Jason Bateman find themselves forced to stage a seasonal blow-out to protect their branch office from being closed down by ruthless CEO Jennifer Aniston, leading to Christmas chaos. Also stars Kate McKinnon (Yesterday; The Spy Who Dumped Me), Jillian Bell (Brittany Runs a Marathon), Olivia Munn (X-Men: Apocalypse; The Predator), Vanessa Bayer (Trainwreck) and Rob Corddry (Hot Tub Time Machine).
