Chad Powers: Season 2

Chad Powers is a superstar on the field but his odd behavior off it has everyone suspicious – especially Coach Hudson and Gerry. Ricky knows the truth, but if Russ and Danny want Chad to survive the regular season and lead the Catfish to the College Football Playoff, she’s their only hope.

Taskmaster: Season 22

Chloe Petts, Isy Suttie, Matt Lucas, Nina Conti and Richard Ayoade line up for Channel 4’s hilariously silly competition, overseen as ever by Greg Davies and Little Alex Horne.

The Gentlemen: Season 2

With Bobby standing in the way of expanding the criminal empire, Eddie and Susie must decide whether to fall in line or make their own moves. From director Guy Ritchie, the darkly comic thriller inspired by the film of the same name returns, starring Theo James and Kaya Scodelario.

The Grand Tour: Season 6

James, Francis, and Thomas are officially in the driving seat for a new edition of Amazon’s motoring show.

Colin from Accounts: Season 3

Real life married couple Patrick Brammall and Harriet Dyer are impeccable in this funny, naughty and deceptively heartfelt comedy about a dysfunctional, age-gapped couple brought together by an accident with a dog.

Last Seen

Police detective Ian Ridley’s (Patrick Brammall) life fell apart 11 years ago when his young daughter, Maggie, disappeared without a trace. Now working as a police dispatcher, the only thing that has kept him going is his implacable refusal to accept that she might be gone forever. When he receives a distress call from a teenage girl he is certain is Maggie, he will stop at nothing to find her and reunite his broken family, whatever the cost. Adapted from Ryan David Jahn’s book The Dispatcher, the first two episodes arrive together, followed by a new episode every week until the finale on 7th October.

The Paper: Season 2

The fictional camera crew that immortalised Dunder Mifflin are striking set and moving from Scranton to Toledo. The stars of their new mockumentary are staffers of a historic Midwestern newspaper, the Toledo Truth-Teller, and the publisher trying to bring it back to life with volunteer reporters. All episodes arrive at once.

Saturday Night Live UK: Season 2

Live from London on Saturday nights, it’s SNL UK! In a distinctly British twist on the beloved American series, a team of up-and-coming talent will give their spin on the week’s news and deliver hilarious sketches – all in front of a live studio audience, and broadcast live. Episodes arrive weekly, beginning with an episode hosted by Jeff Goldblum.

70 Up

The groundbreaking documentary series returns to meet the people we first saw as 7-year-olds as they reflect on life at 70.

Neagley

Frances Neagley (Maria Sten) is a private investigator in Chicago and former military protege of Jack Reacher (Alan Ritchson) in the Army’s 110th Special Investigations Unit. When she learns that a beloved friend from her past has been killed in a suspicious accident, she becomes hell-bent on justice. Using everything she’s learned from Jack Reacher and her time as a member of the 110 Special Investigators, Neagley puts herself on a dangerous path to uncover a menacing evil. All episodes arrive together.

Slow Horses: Season 6

This darkly funny espionage drama follows a team of British intelligence agents who serve in a dumping ground department of MI5 due to their career-ending mistakes. Led by their brilliant but irascible leader, the notorious Jackson Lamb (Academy Award winner Sir Gary Oldman), they navigate the espionage world’s smoke and mirrors to defend England from sinister forces. Based on Joe Country and Slough House, Season 6 sees the Slow Horses on the run as Diana Taverner embroils them all in a fatally high-stakes game of retaliation and revenge. The six episodes arrive weekly until the finale on 21st October

Monster: The Lizzie Borden Story

Ryan Murphy and Ian Brennan’s hit anthology series returns to look at the story of Lizzie Borden, the infamous Massachusetts woman who was accused of the 1892 axe murder of her parents

Stranger Things: Tales from 85: Season 2

Something is haunting these woods… Netflix’s spin-off animated series returns for more Upside-Down adventures.

The Walking Dead: Dead City: Season 3

Maggie and Negan return for a third chapter in the horror franchise’s fan-favourite spin-off.

Strictly Come Dancing: Season 24

Emma Willis, Josh Widdicombe and Johannes Radebe step into the presenter shoes for the entertaining dancing competition, now given a gentle revamp – but not too much.

Week 4

 

The Blame

In this twisty thriller starring Michelle Keegan and Douglas Booth, a teenage skater’s murder draws detectives down a dark, treacherous path, forcing them to investigate their own team.

The Split Up

For Manchester’s elite, family firm Kishan Law are the go-to divorce lawyers. But amid the messiness of love, marriage and deception, the personal and professional will collide. A spin-off from Abi Morgan’s The Split, created by Ursula Rani Sarma (Delicious) and starring The Umbrella Academy’s Ritu Arya.

The Wargame

Based on the Sky News podcast of the same name, this immersive documentary four-part series takes viewers beyond the news cycle and behind closed doors into a sealed COBR-style crisis room where real-world senior politicians, military leaders and intelligence chiefs are challenged to confront a high-stakes scenario: a Russian attack on UK soil. An impressive cross-party cast of highly experienced public figures must navigate this crisis, including Michael Gove, Nicola Sturgeon, Penny Mordaunt, Sayeeda Warsi, Harriet Harman, Jim Murphy, Ayesha Hazarika, General Sir Richard Barrons, Kim Darroch, Christopher Steele, Lord George Robertson and Anthony Scaramucci. Opposing them, a team of Russia experts, led by Keir Giles. Episodes air nightly through the week.

Youth

From Sharon Horgan, this comedy follows a divorcee’s search for sex and love whilst juggling her ailing parents and should-be grown up son.

The Great British Bake Off: Season 17

12 new bakers enter the Bake Off tent, welcomed by Alison and Noel – and, for the first time, facing new judge Nigella Lawson alongside Paul Hollywood.

Brothers

Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson play fictionalised versions of themselves in this comedy about two old friends whose lifelong bond is thrown into chaos when they uncover a decades-old secret: they might actually be brothers. After Woody’s daughter’s wedding falls apart, he loads up the family and heads to Austin for an extended stay at Matthew’s ranch. But what begins as a healing getaway quickly spirals when Matthew’s mother, Ma Mac (played by Holland Taylor), accidentally lets the secret slip. As Woody turns the ranch upside down in pursuit of the truth, Matthew finds himself juggling an entirely different identity crisis: a potential run for Governor of Texas. The result is a heartfelt, chaotic and wildly funny story about friendship, family, fame and the messy line between myth and reality.

American Horror Story: Season 13

Constance Langdon, Cordelia Goode, Madison Montgomery, Marie Laveau, Rubber Man, Twisty the Clown and Kai Anderson will all return in this crossover event series that marks the latest chapter in the legendary anthology series. Which iconic horrors will return to haunt the hallowed halls of 13 and what new terrors await? Light your candles, draw your pentagrams and prepare for a supreme surprise. Three episodes arrive together, followed by episodes in pairs until the finale on 30th October.

Marble Hall Murders: Season 3

Susan’s latest literary job leads her to another murder case – and she unexpectedly finds herself a suspect. The final instalment in the mystery trilogy, starring Lesley Manville.

Blue Lights: Season 4

Three years into their jobs as response officers, Constables Grace Ellis, Tommy Foster, and Annie Conlon are operating at their limit, facing a new threat on the streets that the police can barely control. Winter

Set against the atmospheric backdrop of Bristol, this police thriller starring Richard Armitage follows forensic pathologist Dr Ethan Winter as he and his team crack a series of twisted and compelling murder cases. With his unflinching eye for detail and deep knowledge of the human body, Winter sees what others miss, revealing the secrets the dead leave behind. A remake of the long-running French series Balthazar.
