This weekend marks the launch of Apple TV+, Apple’s new subscription streaming platform.

One of its most intriguing titles is Dickinson, a biopic about Emily Dickinson. The darkly comedic coming-of-age story portrays period America through a distinctly modern lens, from current pop tunes to contemporary dialogue, exploring the constraints of society, gender and family from the perspective of a forward-thinking, rebellious young poet. Fans wanting more episodes, though, may be slightly disappointed when they reach the end of the 10 half-hour episodes. The good news? There are more episodes to come. The bad news? You’ll have to wait a bit for them.

How many episodes are there?

Dickinson has 10 episodes in its first season.

When is the next episode released?

Episodes 1 to 10 were all released at once when Apple TV+ launched.

Why are some episodes available for free?

Even if you do not have an Apple TV+ subscription, Apple is releasing several episodes of its original shows for free – but only to people with the Apple TV app.

The first two episodes of See, The Morning Show, For All Mankind and Dickinson are now available to watch for three through Apple TV as a taster to get you hooked. To watch Episode 3 onwards, you will need to subscribe.

Will there be a Season 2?

Yes, Dickinson has been renewed for a second season.
