Kilts! Royalty! Vampires! Lionsgate+ UK is catering to all tastes this August, with a line-up that ranges from Outlander-inspired travelogues to every episode of the hit drama Power – plus weekly drops of The Great still continuing.
Here’s what’s coming to Lionsgate+ in August 2023:
Dracula Untold – 1st August
Vlad III, prince of Wallachia, trades his humanity for the power to defend his land and people from the ruthless forces of the Ottoman Empire.
Elizabeth: The Golden Age – 1st August
A mature Queen Elizabeth endures multiple crises late in her reign, including court political and sexual intrigues at the royal court, an assassination plot, and a massive armada of Spanish warships bearing down on England. Starring Cate Blanchett and Geoffrey Rush, the movie won an Academy Award for Costume Design.
Men in Kilts: A Roadtrip with Sam and Graham: Season 2 – 11th August
Join ‘Outlander’ stars Sam Heughan and Graham McTavish as they reunite to travel down under and hit the road again for a four-episode second season – this time in the adventure capital of the world: New Zealand. All episodes arrive at once.
Power: Season 1 to 6 – 26th August
Power’s spin-offs are joined by the original series, as the sixth season picks up with James “Ghost” St. Patrick seeking vengeance. His former drug partner and brother in arms must pay for the ultimate betrayal.
Power Confidential: Season 1 – 26th August
Power Confidential is the official after show for the hit series Power. It will highlight the most memorable and jaw-dropping moments from each episode and provide exclusive behind-the-scenes insights.
