Here’s what’s coming soon to Paramount+ UK in August 2022:

Rugrats (2022): Season 1 – 1st August

The Nickelodeon classic gets a reworking in this modern CGI-animated cartoon that once again follows the adventures of babies Tommy, Chuckie, Angelica, Susie and Phil and Lil. Warning: May contain nappies and dinosaurs. (All 25 episodes arrive at once.)

La Brea: Season 1 – 1st August

A sinkhole opens in the middle of Los Angeles, pulling hundreds of people and buildings into a mysterious primeval land. From writer David Appelbaum (The Mentalist) and starring Natalie Zea, Eoin Macken and Jon Zeda. All 10 episodes arrive together, with the first episode airing on Channel 5 as a “Paramount+ Presents special”.

City on a Hill: Season 3 – 1st August

Kevin Bacon and Aldis Hodge star in this Showtime drama set in Boston’s high society Beacon Hill. Having left the FBI, Jackie Rohr (Bacon) lands a new gig running security for a wealthy family – until secrets begin to unravel. Episodes arrive weekly.

Beavis and Butt-Head: Season 1 – 4th August

Beavis and Butt-Head are back and stupider than ever, as Mike Judge revives his adult animated series to take a look at modern society.

Apex – 5th August

Bruce Willis stars in this thriller that follows five elite hunters who pay to hunt a human on a deserted island – but each one begins to fall as their prey fights back with mind-games, traps and a determination to survive.

Are You the One? UK: Season 1 – 8th August

This competition series follows 20 singletons whose scientific “perfect match” is in the house where they’re all shacked up – they just have to find them. If all 10 perfect matches are uncovered by the end of the series, they are rewarded with a cash prize. All 10 episodes arrive at once.

The Box: Season 1 – 11th August

This docuseries follows police detective Chris Loudon’s mission to expose the truth behind one of America’s worst serial killers, after discovering a box of evidence seized decades ago that was untouched. All 3 episodes arrive at once.

Secret Headquarters – 13th August

Owen Wilson stars in Henry Joost and Ariel Schulman’s latest, which follows Charlie and his friends who, while hanging out after school, discover the HQ of the world’s most powerful superhero. When villains attack, they must team up to defend it and save the world.

Jackass Forever – 16th August

Johnn Knoxville and the original Jackass crew return for a new round of absurd stunts and pranks.

Yellowstone: Season 4 – 17th August

Taylor Sheridan’s Western series rides onto our screens again , starring Kevin Costner as John Dutton, who controls the largest contiguous cattle ranch in the US. Episodes 1 to 3 arrive together, with new episodes then arriving weekly.

The Disappearance of Gabby Petito: Season 1 – 18th August

When 22-year-old vlogger Gabby Petito disappeared, the web went into a frenzy. This definitive docuseries follows the twists and turns of a 21st-century investigation. All 3 episodes arrive at once.

Skymed: Season 1 – 23rd August

Life, death and drama at 20,000 feet. This 10-part series weaves together medical rescues and character tribulations as it follows nurses and pilots flying air ambulances in Northern California. All episodes arrive at once.

Who Murdered Meredith Kercher: Season 1 – 25th August

On 2nd November 2007, British student Meredith Kercher’s body was found under a duvet on her bedroom floor in a student flat in Perugia. Years on from the media whirlwind that surrounded the case, including Amanda Knox and Raffaele Sollecito and Patrick Lumumba, this two-part series delves into the investigation and the contested trials that unravelled over eight years. Both episodes arrive at once.
