Warrior: Season 3 (Sky Max, 9pm) – 1st September
Peace never lasts. In the wake of the race riots that upended Chinatown in season two, using her adept manipulation of government connections, Mai Ling cunningly consolidates her power. Ah Sahm and Hop Wei are in a precarious position to devise innovative strategies for their survival. All episodes arrive together.
Turner Decoded (Sky Arts, 8pm) – 6th September
A bold and somewhat controversial analysis of the life and works of JMW Turner, Britain’s greatest ever artist.
Curse of Skinwalker Ranch: Season 4 (Sky History, 9pm) – 6th September
The series is set at Skinwalker Ranch, a 500-acre ranch that is the site of purported paranormal and UFO-related activities, and follows a team of investigators and sceptics investigating the reports. Episodes arrive weekly.
Pawn Stars: Season 24 (Sky History, 8pm) – 7th September
Long before banks, cash machines and check-cashing services, there were pawn shops. Pawning was the leading form of consumer credit in the United States until the 1950s, and pawn shops are still helping everyday people make ends meet. Pawn Stars takes you inside the colourful world of the pawn business in Las Vegas with the Harrison family. Episodes arrive weekly.
The Lovers (Sky Atlantic, 9pm) – 7th September
Janet (Roisin Gallagher), is a foul-mouthed, hilarious, Belfast supermarket worker who couldn’t give a shit about anything much at all, including her life. Seamus (Johnny Flynn) is a handsome, self-centred, political broadcaster with what looks to be a perfect London life and a celebrity girlfriend. So when Seamus unexpectedly drops into Janet’s world (literally over the wall and into her backyard) they instantly clash – and yet also find themselves inextricably drawn to each other… Set in Belfast, this is a sexy, funny, fight-y love story about two people who appear to be utterly wrong for each other – yet may just be utterly right. All episodes arrive together.
Drift: Partners in Crime: Part 2 (Sky Atlantic, 10.10pm) – 8th September
The second chapter of the action-packed drama from Germany. Ken Duken and Fabian Busch return as an unequal pair of brothers and unexpected detective duo. Ali Zeller (Duken) and Leo Zeller (Busch) continue their exhaustive search for the truth, travelling from the remote valleys of the Bavarian Alps, to the narrow street canyons of Athens, to the dry dirt tracks of the Peloponnese. Episodes arrive in double-bills weekly.
Domina: Season 2 (Sky Atlantic, 9pm) – 13th September
Domina Season Two chronicles the struggle for control of the Roman Empire, and of Rome’s Imperial Family, from a rare female perspective. In its first season, Livia Drusilla, the golden girl of the prominent Claudii family, returned to Rome after 10 years in exile, determined to regain everything that was stolen from her. Now, atop a fractious empire and a dysfunctional dynasty, she must fight to preserve her marriage to Gaius and find a way to seat one of her sons on the throne, as new and old rivals jockey for position in a world where it’s impossible to know who to trust. Episodes 1 and 2 arrive together, followed by weekly episodes.
Egypt’s Unexplained Files: Season 2 (Sky History, 10pm) – 13th September
Ancient Egypt is one of the world’s greatest civilisations, spanning 3000 years of history. For the past two centuries, since we first brushed the sands from the Great Sphinx, archaeologists and historians have been slowly unravelling its secrets. Experts believe some of the most important discoveries of this ancient world lie undiscovered beneath the desert sands. Now new technology is decoding some of Egypt’s most enduring enigmas to reveal the hidden truths that are rewriting human history.
Ready, Eddie, Go! (Sky Kids) – 15th September
Eddie is a kind, giggly, brilliantly imaginative little boy – who also happens to be autistic. Whatever adventure the day has in store – be it an Easter Egg hunt, a train journey, or a trip to the dentist’s – he always likes to know what’s going to happen in advance. The show offers bitesize ‘how to’ guide for an array of life scenarios: dressing up; exploring new foods; playing a board game; hosting a visitor. Each episode walks Eddie and his pals, step-by-step, through the day’s upcoming activity, with plenty of playful cutaways and fun set-pieces along the way.
The Russell Murders: Who Killed Lin & Megan? (Sky Documentaries, 9pm) – 17th September
In 1996, Lin Russell and her six-year-old daughter Megan were brutally killed in broad daylight while 9-year-old Josie Russell incredibly survived. It became one of the country’s most shocking multiple murders of the 90’s. After a year, the police finally charged local drug addict Michael Stone, based primarily on a ‘confession’ to a former cell mate. Now, after Stone has served 25 years and continues to maintain his innocence, this series includes exclusive access to Michael Stone in prison via phone calls with his legal team as they prepare one last appeal, coinciding with the latest shocking revelation by one of Britain’s most notorious serial killers, Levi Bellfield, that in fact he committed the murders. Inside Greenpeace (Sky Documentaries) – 17th September
Greenpeace is one of the world’s largest environmental protection organisations. The NGO, which launched its mission to stop the destruction of the planet fifty years ago, has spearheaded some of the most iconic and powerful environmental campaigns of our time. From Brent Spar’s daring manoeuvres against whaling fleets to spectacular missions with hot air balloons, Greenpeace became known worldwide for its peaceful, often bold – and not always legal – media-effective actions. In the five-part documentary series, Greenpeace Inside – Mission: Saving the Planet Sky accompanies activists for a year on their mission to save our planet, following them on a global journey to gain exclusive insights.
Fantasy Island: Season 2 (Sky Max, 9pm) – 18th September
Taking place at a luxury resort, fantasies requested by guests are fulfilled, although they rarely turn out as expected. Delving into the “what if” questions — both big and small — that keep one awake at night, each episode tells emotional, provocative stories about people who arrive with dreams and desires and depart enlightened and transformed through the magical realism of Fantasy Island. All episodes arrive together.
Yu-Gi-Oh! Sevens (Sky Kids) – 18th September
Yuga Ohdo may seem like a normal 10-year-old, but he’s about to take his favourite game to the next level by inventing a whole new way to duel – Rush Dueling! In this second season of the sixth spin-off of the long running card- battler anime, the Battle Royal kicks off with an exhibition match between Roa and his number one fan: the President of Goha.
Otto Baxter: Not A F*cking Horror Story / The Puppet Asylum (Sky Documentaries) – 23rd September
Otto Baxter: Not a F***ing Horror Story follows Otto Baxter, a 35-year-old man with Down’s Syndrome, over six years, as he writes and directs a foul-mouthed, autobiographical comedy- horror-musical set in Victorian London. Otto, who has always struggled to explain how he feels, uses his film The Puppet Asylum to explore his birth, adoption and his epic battle with ‘The Master’ – an evil magician hell-bent on controlling his life. During the filmmaking process Otto’s birth mother dies and he finds himself confronting life in the real world, including his future. Otto’s filmmaker friends Bruce Fletcher and Peter Beard help him to bring his vision to life, but also learn more about his unique perspective on the world and how they can play a role in his future.
Brassic: Season 5 (Sky Max, 10pm) – 28th September
Roll out the red carpet – or whatever colour carpet fell out the back of that van. Fresh from being crowned Best Comedy Drama at the Royal Television Society Awards 2023, Sky’s smash hit comedy Brassic returns for a fun filled fifth season. Vinnie and his crew of scallys are still in deep trouble with local criminal heavyweights the MacDonagh brothers, and this time even their sister is getting involved. In the fifth eight-episode series, you can look forward to more hair-thinning escapades including a catastrophic encounter with a World War II landmine, a surprise visitor from Germany looking for Tommo, an episode with a colossal bunny named Albert, and an art heist involving L.S. Lowry’s more… raunchy works. Plus, there’s a new addition to the Brassic family, and we find out what exactly happened to Dylan.

TÁR – 1st September
From writer-producer-director Todd Field comes TÁR, starring Cate Blanchett as Lydia Tár, the groundbreaking conductor of a major German Orchestra. We meet Tár at the height of her career, as she’s preparing both a book launch and much-anticipated live performance of Mahler’s Fifth Symphony. Over the ensuing weeks her life begins to unravel in a singularly modern way. The result is a searing examination of power, and its impact and durability in today’s society.
Accident Man: Hitman’s Holiday – 2nd September
The Accident Man is back and this time he must beat the top assassins in the world to protect the ungrateful son of a mafia boss, save the life of his only friend and rekindle his relationship with his maniacal father figure.
Sharp Stick – 3rd September
Sarah Jo (Kristine Froseth) is a sensitive and naïve 26-year-old living on the fringes of Hollywood with her disillusioned mother (Jennifer Jason Leigh) and influencer sister (Taylour Paige). Working as a caregiver and just longing to be seen, she begins an exploratory affair with her older, married employer (Jon Bernthal), and is thrust into a startling education on sexuality, loss and power.
Scream VI – 8th September
The four survivors from the most recent Woodsboro Ghostface killings have moved to New York City for a fresh start. Just as they begin to feel a sense of normalcy, they receive that infamous call. Ghostface is more brutal and relentless than ever and will stop at nothing to hunt them down.
80 for Brady – 9th September
Lily Tomlin, Jane Fonda, Rita Moreno and Sally Field star in this comedy, inspired by a true story of friendship and adventure. Four lifelong friends set out to see their hero Tom Brady play in Super Bowl LI and witness one of the greatest comebacks in sports history.
Something in the Dirt – 10th September
When neighbours John and Levi witness supernatural events in their Los Angeles apartment building, they realise documenting the paranormal could inject some fame and fortune into their wasted lives. An ever-deeper, darker rabbit hole, their friendship frays as they uncover the dangers of the phenomena, the city and each other.
Knock at the Cabin – 15th September
While vacationing at a remote cabin, a young girl and her parents are taken hostage by four armed strangers who demand that the family make an unthinkable choice to avert the apocalypse. With limited access to the outside world, the family must decide what they believe before all is lost.
All My Puny Sorrows – 16th September
Based on Miriam Toews’ best-selling novel, All My Puny Sorrows unexpectedly infuses wry humour into this heart-wrenching story of two loving sisters: one a gifted pianist (Sarah Gadon) obsessed with ending her life, the other a struggling writer (Alison Pill) who, in wrestling with this decision, makes profound discoveries about herself.
Spin Me Round – 17th September
When the manager of an American chain restaurant is selected to attend a special training program in Italy, her head swims with dreams of European glamour and romance. But the trip turns out to be much different – and possibly more dangerous – than the exotic getaways she imagines.
God Is a Bullet – 22nd September
Detective Bob Hightower (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) takes action when his ex-wife is murdered and his daughter kidnapped by an insidious cult. Bob takes matters into his own hands and infiltrates the secretive cult to try to save his daughter. With the help of the cult’s only female victim escapee, Case Hardin (Maika Monroe), Bob and Case go down the rabbit hole with The Ferryman (Jamie Foxx) to save his daughter and find closure for Case from the cult – and its maniacal leader (Karl Glusman) – that took so much away from her.
Marcel the Shell with Shoes On – 23rd September
