Netflix is getting the new year off to a thrilling start, with January’s line-up bring with us a return of two spy series – The Night Agent and The Recruit – plus a new Harlan Coben mystery to sink your brain cells into.

Here’s what’s coming soon to Netflix UK in January 2025:

Missing You: Season 1 – 1st January

Adapted by Victoria Asara-Archer (who penned two episodes of Netflix’s hit Coben adaptation Stay Close), the series will follow detective Kat Donovan who sees her estranged fiancé on a dating app. Eleven years ago, Josh – the love of Kat’s life – disappeared and she’s never heard from him since. Josh’s reappearance will force her to dive back into the mystery surrounding her father’s murder and uncover long-buried secrets from her past.

Elvis – 3rd January

Sofia Coppola’s dive into Priscilla Presley’s complex relationship with Elvis is a thoughtful, stylish reframing of the music legend.

WWE Raw – 7th January

Netflix’s deal with WWE kicks in officially, with new episodes of WWE Raw, WWE SmackDown and WWE NXT arriving weekly – plus a whole archive of wrestling mania arriving on New Year’s Day.

American Primeval: Season 1 – 9th January

Only one goal matters: survival. Taylor Kitsch and Betty Gilpin star in American Primeval, a new limited series from director Peter Berg.

Bank of Dave 2: The Loan Ranger – 10th January

Two years after founding his own bank, local hero Dave Fishwick takes on the predatory payday lenders bringing misery to his small English town.

XO, Kitty: Season 2 – 16th January

Kitty returns to Seoul ready for a fresh start, but her plan for a drama-free semester fizzles fast amid new faces, messy crushes and family secrets.

Castlevania: Nocturne: Season 2 – 16th January

The legendary Alucard, Richter Belmont, and his band of vampire hunters are in a desperate race against time. Erzsebet Báthory, the Vampire Messiah, who already seems invincible, seeks the full power of the goddess Sekhmet so she can plunge the world into endless darkness and terror.

Back in Action – 19th January

Years after giving up life as CIA spies to start a family, Emily (Cameron Diaz) and Matt (Jamie Foxx) find themselves dragged back into the world of espionage when their cover is blown.

The Night Agent: Season 2 – 23rd January

The fate of the nation relies on one man, as the conspiracy thriller continues to unfold.

The Recruit: Season 2 – 30th January

A charming, energetic turn from Noah Centineo makes this CIA thriller a fun – and funny – watch.
