What’s coming soon to Netflix UK in August 2018?
David Farnor | On 25, Jul 2018
Netflix is bringing out its blockbuster hits for the summer, with August finally bringing us Season 4 of Better Call Saul. It’s not the only high-profile series making a return, as awards favourite Ozark debuts its second season, Gotham drops Season 4 and Top of the Lake serves up a sophomore run.
From an Orson Welles classic to a triple-bill of Hong Kong action and the funniest British movie ever made, there’s an impressively diverse line-up of films, topped off by the hand-painted gem Loving Vincent.
With school out for another month, families can enjoy everything from Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and Voltron: Legendary Defender to Kubo and the Two Strings and The Secret Life of Pets. Adult animation, meanwhile, gets a double dose of Netflix originals, from cop series Paradise PD to Matt Groening’s new series, Disenchantment. Throw in new British sci-fi The Innocents and Indian horror series Ghoul and you have more than enough reason to stay indoors until September.
