Disney’s Netflix rival is here, serving up Marvel, Star Wars and Pixar originals, along with a post-modern revamp of High School Musical and every episode of The Simpsons.

This month finally sees the release of Under the Banner of Heaven starring Andrew Garfield and Daisy Edgar-Jones, but there’s more on offer besides true crime thrills, with the return of High School Musical: The Musical: The Series, new episodes of Only Murders in the Building and Atlanta, and a chance to catch the stunning animated films Flee and Waltz with Bashir.

The Princess – 1st July

America the Beautiful – 4th July

The Bob’s Burgers Movie – 13th July

The Bob’s Burgers Movie is an animated musical comedy-mystery-adventure based on the long-running, Emmy®-winning series. After a ruptured water main creates a sinkhole in front of Bob’s Burgers and blocks the entrance, Bob and Linda Belcher struggle to keep the business afloat, as the kids try to solve a mystery that could save the restaurant.

Zombies 3 – 15th July

It’s Zed and Addison’s final year at Seabrook, which has become a haven for monsters and humans. Zed is trying to get a football scholarship to be the first Zombie to attend college, and Addison is organising an International Cheer-Off. When intergalactic outsiders show up to compete in the Cheer-Off, Seabrook grows suspicious that they may be looking for more than a friendly competition.

Flee – 15th July

Award-winning, critically acclaimed Flee is a powerful and innovative animated documentary exploring the refugee experience from the inside, giving a voice to one man’s moving story. Told mostly through animation, Flee weaves together a stunning tapestry of images and memories to tell the deeply affecting story of a man grappling with his traumatic past in order to find his true self and the real meaning of home.

Personal Shopper (2016) – 22nd July

Olivier Assayas captures the uncertainty of the digital age in a haunting drama of isolation.

Gosford Park (2001) – 29th July

In 1930s England, a group of pretentious rich and famous gather together for a weekend. That’s the starting point for Robert Altman’s superb and witty ensemble whodunnit, which stars Maggie Smith, Michael Gambon, Kristin Scott Thomas, Kelly Macdonald, Clive Owen… the list goes on.

Under the Banner of Heaven – 27th July

Under the Banner of Heaven is an original limited series inspired by the true crime bestseller by Jon Krakauer, which follows the events that led to the 1984 murder of Brenda Wright Lafferty and her baby daughter in a suburb in the Salt Lake Valley, Utah. As Detective Jeb Pyre investigates events that transpired within the Lafferty family, he uncovers buried truths about the origins of the LDS religion and the violent consequences of unyielding faith. What Pyre, a devout Mormon, unearths leads him to question his own faith. All episodes arrive at once.

High School Musical: The Musical: The Series: Season 3 – 27th July

The Wildcats head to Camp Shallow Lake, a California sleepaway camp, where they and their fellow campers are primed for an unforgettable summer ripe with romance, curfew-less nights and a taste of the great outdoors. Things heat up AND cool down when they take on a high-stakes production of Frozen and film a drama-filled docu-series along the way. Will the Wildcats be able to show who is “best in snow” without leaving anyone out in the cold? Episodes arrive weekly.

Not Okay – 29th July

Not Okay follows Danni Sanders (Zoey Deutch), an aimless aspiring writer with no friends, no romantic prospects and – worst of all – no followers, who fakes an Instagram-friendly trip to Paris in the hopes of boosting her social media clout. When a terrifying incident strikes the City of Lights, Danni unwittingly falls into a lie bigger than she ever imagined. She “returns” a hero, even striking up an unlikely friendship with Rowan (Mia Isaac), a school-shooting survivor dedicated to societal change, and scooping up the man of her dreams Colin (Dylan O’Brien). As an influencer and advocate, Danni finally has the life and audience she always wanted. But it’s only a matter of time before the facade cracks, and she learns the hard way that the Internet loves a takedown.
