What do Bill Nighy, Jack Ryan, Peter Crouch and Guy Ritchie have in common? They’re all heading to Amazon Prime Video this month, with the release of an Oscar-nominated drama, an action thriller, a sporting documentary and a farewell to a long-running Amazon series.
Here’s what’s coming soon to Amazon Prime Video UK in June 2023:
Deadloch – 2nd June
When a local man turns up dead on the beach, two vastly different detectives are thrown together to solve the case, fastidious local senior sergeant Dulcie Collins (Kate Box) and a rough-as-guts blow-in from Darwin, senior investigator Eddie Redcliffe (Madeleine Sami) along with their overeager junior constable Abby (Nina Oyama). As the town prepares to launch the annual arts, food, and culture event—Winter Feastival—the trio must put their differences aside and work together to find the killer. From the wickedly funny minds of Kate McCartney and Kate McLennan. Episodes 1 to 3 arrive together.
Medellín – 2nd June
To save his younger brother from a dangerous cartel in Medellín, Reda (Ramzy Bedia) has a plan that is as simple as it is completely insane: Assemble a team and plan a raid in Colombia. Based on an original idea of Franck Gastambide, and co-written by Gastambide and Charles Van Tieghem (Validé).

As Jack and the team investigate how deep the corruption runs, he discovers a far-worse reality: the convergence of a drug cartel with a terrorist organisation, ultimately revealing a conspiracy much closer to home and testing our hero’s belief in the system he has always fought to protect. Episodes 1 and 2 arrive together, followed by episodes weekly.
