Hacks Season 2 arrives on UK screens much quicker than the first, with Amazon bringing the show back this June, along with another big hitter: The Boys. That, coupled with a slice of Spidey action and the accent-slinging action of House of Gucci, makes for a heated start to the summer.
Here’s what’s coming soon to Amazon Prime Video UK in June 2022:
Elizabeth: A Portrait in Parts – 1st June
Elizabeth: A Portrait in Parts is a unique and inventive feature documentary about the life of Queen Elizabeth II. Directed by the late, great and much celebrated Roger Michell (Notting Hill, The Duke) and produced by prolific British producer Kevin Loader (Nowhere Boy, The Lady in the Van).
The Boys: Season 3 – 3rd June
Season 3 of Amazon’s darkly comic superhero satire sees Laurie Holden join the cast as Crimson Countess, Sean Patrick Flanery as Gunpowder, Miles Gaston Villanueva as Supersonic and Nick Wechsler as Blue Hawk, along with Soldier Boy (Jensen Ackles), a WWII soldier who became the first superhero celebrity. And, of course, The Boys will be back, led by Karl Urban’s Billy – who’s currently going through a few dramatic changes. Episodes 1 to 3 arrive together, followed by episodes arriving weekly.
Spider-Man: Homecoming – 6th June
Tom Holland slings webs like he was born to do it in this hugely entertaining superhero sequel.
Hacks: Season 2 – 10th June
Say hello to your new favourite double-act in this funny, smart and warm odd couple comedy.

House of Gucci – 17th June
Ridley Scott’s star-studded, bloated, inconsistent crime drama is excessive to a fault.
The Summer I Turned Pretty: Season 1 – 17th June
This multigenerational drama hinges on a love triangle between one girl and two brothers, the ever-evolving relationship between mothers and their children, and the enduring power of strong female friendship. It Lola Tung (Belly), Jackie Chung (Laurel), Rachel Blanchard (Susannah), Christopher Briney (Conrad), Gavin Casalegno (Jeremiah), Sean Kaufman (Steven), Alfredo Narciso (Cleveland), Minnie Mills (Shayla) with Colin Ferguson (John Conklin), and Tom Everett Scott (Adam Fisher). The showrunners are Jenny Han, who also wrote the pilot, and Gabrielle Stanton.
The One That Got Away – 24th June
It may seem like an impossible feat to track down The One That Got Away, but for a group of lucky singles, that dream becomes a reality. In this experimental reality TV series hosted by Betty Who, six people searching for their soulmates are given the chance to explore a lifetime of missed connections as one by one, people from their pasts enter through “The Portal” to surprise them and take their shot at love.
