Amazon is getting Christmas started early this year, with the month kicking off with a festive special from Jack Whitehall – following by a month of international originals, plus two new competition series, most notably a Harry Potter remix of Bake Off…

Jack In Time For Christmas – 3rd December

Tis the season for gifts, goodwill, and of course genre-bending seasonal semi-scripted specials. That’s why Prime Video has wrapped up the ultimate Christmas present for comedy lovers. In this hilariously festive feature, Jack Whitehall finds himself stranded in the USA with just four days to make it back to the UK for Christmas. With time ticking away, Jack embarks on an incredible and, some would say, implausible journey involving planes, trains, huskies, and bobsleighs. A stockingful of conveniently located famous faces help (and hinder) along the way as Jack navigates the chaos of Christmas and tries to make it home in time.

Pop Culture Jeopardy! Season 1 – 4th December

Pop Culture Jeopardy! Is a brand-new twist on the classic quiz show’s “answer-and-question” format that combines the academic rigour of Jeopardy! with the excitement and unpredictability of pop culture. Contestants, playing in teams of three, will need to be experts in categories from Alternative Rock to The Avengers; Broadway to MMA; Gen Z to Zendaya as they compete in a tournament-style event for the grand prize of $300,000 and ultimate bragging rights. The 40 episodes arrives in groups of three.

The Red Virgin – 5th December

The Red Virgin is conceived and educated by her mother Aurora to be the woman of the future, becoming one of the most brilliant minds in Spain in the 1930s and one of Europe’s leading referents on female sexuality. At 18, Hildegart begins to experience freedom and meets Abel Velilla, who helps her to explore a new emotional world, and to break away from her mother’s iron nest. Aurora fears losing control over her daughter, and does everything she can to prevent Hildegart from moving away. The two women clash on a summer night in 1933 putting an end to the “Hildegart Project”.

Glitter and Greed: The Lisa Frank Story: Season 1 – 5th December

Glitter and Greed: The Lisa Frank Story is a four-part documentary that penetrates the neon-hued world of Lisa Frank Inc., a brand that defined girlhood for a generation of Americans only to seemingly disappear overnight. Behind the rainbows and psychedelic illustrations, we unravel a nostalgia-soaked, stranger-than-fiction tale that takes us into the hidden world that has been lurking at the heart of the company for decades. Glitter and Greed: The Lisa Frank Story features never-before-seen footage and over twenty interviews with Lisa Frank, Inc insiders, enthusiasts, and journalists. All four episodes arrive at once.

The Sticky : Season 1 – 6th December

The Sticky, inspired by the true story dubbed the “Great Canadian Maple Syrup Heist”, follows Ruth Landry (Margo Martindale), a tough, middle-aged maple syrup farmer who turns to crime when the bureaucratic authorities threaten to take away everything she loves. She teams up with the hot-tempered Bostonian mobster, and a mild-mannered French-Canadian security guard to carry out a multi-million dollar heist on Quebec’s maple syrup surplus. Jamie Lee Curtis also appears as a guest star in the series in addition to executive producing. All episodes arrive at once.

Secret Level: Season 1 – 10th December

Each episode of Secret Level serves as a gateway to a new adventure, unlocking exciting worlds from beloved gaming classics and highly anticipated new titles. Prepare for an unforgettable journey, where Amazon MGM Studios and gaming’s finest unite in a first-of-its-kind event that brings together more game IP in a single series than has ever been done before.

Harry Potter: Wizards of Baking: Season 1 – 17th December

With the enduring love for Harry Potter – a global phenomenon that continues to captivate people of all ages around the world – the ground-breaking series blends legendary storytelling and fantastical edible creations in a never-before-seen competition that will have audiences at the edge of their seats. James and Oliver Phelps (Fred and George Weasley) bring their exceptional charm and behind-the-scenes anecdotes as hosts of this most magical series, joined by esteemed, culinary judges, Carla Hall and Jozef Youssef. Across the six-episode season they will also be joined by special guests Warwick Davis (Professor Flitwick), Evanna Lynch (Luna Lovegood) and Bonnie Wright (Ginny Weasley) who will help in evaluating the competitors’ showpieces and also share their own film stories. Episodes 1 to 6 arrive together, followed by a finale on Christmas Evee.

Beast Games: Season 1 – 19th December

Culpa Tuya – 27th December
