A new adaptation of A Christmas Carol from the creator of Peaky Blinders were the only words we needed to hear this Christmas to get in the festive mood, and the new trailer gives us a tantalising glimpse of the dark and atmospheric interpretation of Charles Dickens’ classic tale.
As well as Steven Knight writing and The Awakening director Nick Murphy at the helm, the three-parter boasts an equally starring line-up in front of the camera, including Guy Pearce, Stephen Graham, Andy Serkis and Charlotte Riley.
It premieres at 9pm on 22nd December on BBC One and iPlayer, with Episode 2 and 3 airing nightly until Christmas Eve.
