Fast & Furious channel races onto Sky Cinema

Sky Cinema is bringing together all seven Fast & Furious films in a collection for the very first time in the UK.
Launching on 8th April, the not-at-all-clunkily-named “Sky Cinema Fast & Furious” will race onto British screens, giving fans of the franchise the chance to accelerate through the whole series of seven films in a single lap. Viewers will also be able to enjoy a global exclusive clip from the upcoming Fast & Furious 8, alongside a featurette featuring Fast & Furious star Vin Diesel and screenwriter Chris Morgan.
Both the clip and featurette will be shown on Saturday 8th April at 8pm on Sky Cinema Fast & Furious, and will be available shortly after on demand. The main attraction, though, will be the seven movies themselves, which go all the way back to 2001, which will be shown on Sky Cinema Fast & Furious on a loop and be available to stream on-demand for Sky Cinema customers.
It’s the latest in a run of dedicated channels and collections on Sky Cinema, as the broadcaster takes the box set success of its TV offerings and applies it to its movies arm.
Group Director of Sky Cinema Ian Lewis says: “The Fast & Furious films provide high-octane drama, entertainment and action and we’re bringing them together on Sky Cinema on a dedicated channel for the very first time. It’s another example of how we continue to innovate to provide our viewers with the great variety and choice that make Sky Cinema the leading in-home movies service in the UK and Ireland.”
The films will be available on Sky Channel 303, or through Sky set top boxes on-demand. Don’t have Sky? You can also stream all the Fast & Furious movies through a NOW Cinema pass, which costs £9.99 a month, no contract, and includes access to the whole Sky Cinema catalogue.
