Netflix has a bumper October lined up, with the debut of the star-studded East of Eden, Ben Affleck thriller Animals and a Josh Hartnett creature series. But it’s the returning favourites that really steal the show, with The Diplomat back for a fourth chapter and Nobody Wants This and Lupin also back on our screens.

Here’s what’s coming soon to Netflix UK in October 2026:

East of Eden – 1st October

A Steinbeck classic gets a fresh interpretation with a cast includinv Florence Pugh and Mike Faist. The epic explores the multigenerational saga of the Trask family, focusing new attention on its indelible antihero, Cath

Below – 8th October

There’s something in the water. Josh Hartnett, Charlie Heaton and Mackenzie Davis star a suspenseful new thriller set on the rugged coast of Newfoundland.

Animals – 9th October

When their son is kidnapped, an LA mayoral candidate and his wife scramble to raise the ransom while making choices that could tear their world apart. Directed by and starring Ben Affleck, with Kerry Washington, Steven Yeun, Gillian Anderson, Adriana Paz and Luis Gerardo Méndez.

Wicked – 10th October

Packed with spectacle and heart, this bombastic adaptation of the hit stage musical is a soaring success.

TYSON – 13th October

This four-part documentary peels back the curtain on Mike Tyson’s explosive life, from a brutal Brooklyn childhood and a meteoric rise to heavyweight glory to the addiction, jail time, public breakdowns, and infamous ear bite that almost ended it all. Told unfiltered in Tyson’s own words, with never-before-seen material and rare access to his family, friends, and foes, it’s an intimate portrait of greatness, collapse, and a man still confronting the cost of his legacy.

The Diplomat: Season 4 – 15th October

Two marriages threaten to eat each other alive in the return of Netflix’s political thriller. One catastrophic moment shatters the fragile peace Kate Wyler brokered between the US and UK, as well as the crumbling marriage she’s trying to save. While she fights to stem the bleeding, President Grace Penn and VP Hal Wyler’s conspiracy to steal Russia’s most powerful weapon hurtles the United States toward war. Kate and Todd, at best an uneasy pair, unite to stop the Grace-Hal alliance from upending the balance of power abroad and at home. Keri Russell stars as Ambassador Kate Wyler, alongside Rufus Sewell as Vice President Hal Wyler, Allison Janney as President Grace Penn, and Bradley Whitford as Todd Penn.

The New Stanford Prison Experiment: Season 1 – 21st October

In this bold reimagining of one of history’s most controversial social experiments, 30 willing participants enter a real prison and are randomly assigned as guards or prisoners. Thrust into a system of power, hierarchy, and control, they’ll discover whether ordinary people inevitably conform to the roles they’re given—or whether empathy, morality, and individuality can withstand the forces pushing them in the opposite direction. As the pressure builds and the balance of power begins to shift, the central question feels more urgent than ever: Does power corrupt?

Nobody Wants This: Season 3 – 22nd October

It’s time to take the next step, as Kristen Bell and Adam Brody reunite for the third chapter of the unlikely rom-com.

Lupin: Part 4 – 23rd October

After four years in prison, Assane is ready to start a new life with his family. But the emergence of a mysterious copycat forces Lupin to return to his most brilliant schemes…
