What’s coming soon to Sky and NOW in June 2026?

Sky is reaping the rewards of its close ties to HBO Max this summer, with House of the Dragon swooping back on to Sky Atlantic for Season 3. It’s joined by Doc Martin remake Best Medicine and Italian thriller Rosa Elettrica. (Reminder: Sky includes other new HBO Max titles in its Sky Ultimate TV subscription – and, for NOW’s streaming customers, HBO Max Basic with Ads will also be included in NOW Entertainment memberships at no extra cost.)

Sky Cinema’s line-up, meanwhile, features The Choral, No Ordinary Heist, Black Phone 2 and The SpongeBob Movie: The Search for Squarepants. Best Medicine (Sky One, 9pm) – 9th June
New medical comedy drama based on the beloved British series Doc Martin. Martin Best (Josh Charles, The Good Wife) is a brilliant surgeon who abruptly leaves his illustrious career in Boston to become the general practitioner in a quaint East Coast fishing village where he spent summers as a child. Unfortunately, Martin’s blunt and borderline rude bedside manner rubs the quirky, needy locals the wrong way, and he quickly alienates the town, even though he’s all they’ve got. Episodes arrive weekly.
James Dean: The Emotional Man (Sky Arts, 9pm) – 11th June
Dead at the age of 24 after starring in only three films, James Dean remains the icon par excellence, whose influence endures 70 years after he passed away. More than just a face and an attitude, he transformed the perception of masculinity, embracing his flaws, his doubts, his fragility, his loves, forging himself into an anti-hero. His life continues to inspire, making him a timeless legend and a paragon of freedom.
The Alien Autopsy Scandal (Sky Documentaries, 9pm) – 12th June
n 1995, 18 minutes of grainy film shocked the world and sparked one of the most compelling mysteries of our time. The so-called ‘Alien Autopsy’ footage appeared to show three government officials in hazmat suits dissecting the corpse of an alien recovered from a crash-site near Roswell, New Mexico in 1947. The footage became an international sensation, captivating film experts, military analysts, and even the Secret Service. But the question remained: was it genuine, or an elaborate hoax? The truth is far from straight forward. From director John Dower (My Scientology Movie and the BAFTA award winning Lockerbie), this stranger-than-fiction documentary series follows members of an ambitious group of filmmakers who found themselves at the centre of an unprecedented media storm after re-creating a landmark alien encounter in a North London apartment, with some still insisting it was based on a genuine film recorded by the US military. All three parts arrive at once on-demand.
Rosa Elettrica (Sky Atlantic, 9pm) – 16th June
A new original crime thriller from Sky Italia, based on Giampaolo Simi’s bestselling novel of the same name. Maria Chiara Giannetta stars as a young undercover agent recently transferred to the Witness Protection Unit. On her first assignment, she’s assigned to Cocìss (Francesco Di Napoli), an unpredictable Camorra “baby-boss” who is seeking a way out. Having been targeted by a rival clan, the young man has agreed to cooperate with the police to save his own skin. Rosa wonders why she was chosen, but she doesn’t have time to let her uncertainties hold her back. Determined to protect Cocìss at all costs, she doesn’t stop even when she realises there’s a flaw in the system and that, not only is her career at risk, but her life as well. All episodes arrive at once on-demand.
Isle of Wight Festival 2026 (Sky One and Sky Arts, 7pm) – 19th June
Sky presents Isle of Wight Festival 2026, once again coming to you live from Seaclose Park. This year, the biggest party of the summer will be headlined by the incredible Lewis Capaldi, the incomparable Calvin Harris, and Rock and Roll Hall of Famers The Cure. You can also expect supporting sets from an amazing line up, with appearances from Wet leg, Teddy Swims, The Kooks, Tom Grennan, Sex Pistols (ft Frank Carter), Perrie, Two Door Cinema Club, Rita Ora, The Last Dinner Party, Five, Anastacia, David Gray, Rick Astley, KT Tunstall and so much more!
House of the Dragon: Season 3 (Sky Atlantic, 9pm) – 22nd June
There will be no doubt who the gods have chosen to rule. Based on George R.R. Martin’s Fire & Blood, the series, set 200 years before the events of Game of Thrones, tells the story of House Targaryen. Season three stars Matt Smith, Emma D’Arcy, Olivia Cooke, Steve Toussaint, and Rhys Ifans. Episodes arrive weekly.
Rik Mayall: Magnificent B’stard (Sky Documentaries, 9pm) – 25th June
Rik Mayall: Magnificent B’Stard is a celebratory documentary that looks back on the life and career of one of Britain’s most anarchic and influential comedians. Through archive footage and tributes from those closest to him, it charts Mayall’s rise from the alternative comedy scene of the 1980s to mainstream success in hit shows like The Young Ones, Bottom and The New Statesman.

Dead Man’s Wire – 5th June
On Feb. 8, 1977, disgruntled real-estate developer Tony Kiritsis (Bill Skarsgård) takes mortgage broker Richard Hall (Dacre Montgomery) hostage with a sawn-off shotgun, wired with a “dead man’s wire” from the trigger to Tony’s own neck. Crime thriller directed by Gus Van Sant (Good Will Hunting, Milk) also starring Colman Domingo, Cary Elwes, Myha’la and Al Pacino.
Sisu: Road to Revenge – 6th June
Action-packed sequel to the 2023 word-of-mouth sensation. Returning to the house where his family was brutally murdered during the war, “the man who refuses to die” (Jorma Tommila) dismantles it, loads it on a truck, and is determined to rebuild it somewhere safe in their honor. When the Red Army commander who killed his family (Stephen Lang) comes back hellbent on finishing the job, a relentless, eye-popping cross-country chase ensues.
The Internship (2026) – 7th June
Raised from childhood in a top-secret CIA program known as the Internship, a highly
trained assassin is ready to dismantle the institution that stole her youth. Assembling her fellow interns, she leads a bloody uprising that forces the CIA to unleash equally lethal forces to stop them.
The Choral – 12th June
1916. As war rages on the Western Front, the Choral Society in Ramsden, Yorkshire has lost most of its men to the army. The Choral’s ambitious committee, determined to press ahead, decides to recruit local young males to swell their ranks. They must also engage a new chorus master, and despite their suspicions that he has something to hide, their best bet seems to be Dr. Henry Guthrie (Ralph Fiennes) – driven, uncompromising, and recently returned from a career in Germany. As conscription papers start to arrive, the whole community discovers that the best response to the chaos that is laying waste to their lives is to make music together.
No Ordinary Heist – 14th June
Inspired by the shocking true events of the 2004 Northern Bank robbery, two feuding bank employees are thrust into an impossible situation when a ruthless gang kidnaps their families and forces them to commit Ireland’s biggest heist. Starring Eddie Marsan.
Black Phone 2 – 19th June
Four years ago, 13-year-old Finn killed his abductor and escaped, becoming the sole survivor of The Grabber. But true evil transcends death… and the phone is ringing again. Four-time Academy Award® nominee Ethan Hawke returns to the most sinister role of his career as The Grabber seeks vengeance on Finn (Mason Thames) from beyond the grave by menacing Finn’s younger sister, Gwen (Madeleine McGraw). As Finn, now 17, struggles with life after his captivity, the headstrong 15-year-old Gwen begins receiving calls in her dreams from the black phone and seeing disturbing visions of three boys being stalked at a winter camp known as Alpine Lake. Determined to solve the mystery and end the torment for both her and her brother, Gwen persuades Finn to visit the camp during a winter storm. There, she uncovers a shattering intersection between The Grabber and her own family’s history. Together, she and Finn must confront a killer who has grown more powerful in death and more significant to them than either could imagine.

LifeHack – 21st June
LifeHack is a high-stakes cyber-heist thriller built for the digital age. Kyle and his three friends spend their time gaming and pranking online scammers with their hacking skills. Eager for a real challenge, Kyle persuades them to target billionaire Don Heard by exploiting his daughter Lindsey’s overshared social media presence. When the foursome successfully infiltrate Don’s cryptocurrency wallet, they believe they’ve pulled off the perfect crime – until Lindsey calls Kyle with an ultimatum. The SpongeBob Movie: The Search for Squarepants – 25th June
SpongeBob and his Bikini Bottom friends set sail in their biggest, all-new, can’t miss cinematic event ever… The SpongeBob Movie: Search for SquarePants. Mile End Kicks – 27th June
A 24-year-old music critic (Barbie Ferreira) gets romantically involved with two members of the same indie band she is covering, set against Montreal’s vibrant indie music scene in 2011.
Strung – 28th June
From director Malcolm D Lee, a talented violinist takes a prestigious job as a music tutor for the gifted daughter of an influential and enigmatic family. As she becomes entangled in their opulent world, unsettling secrets begin to surface, forcing her to question her safety, her dreams, and even her sanity.
