Amazon is expanding its Batman library this November with new animated series Bat-Fam. It’s joined by the latest Asif Kapadia joint, a Kevin James action comedy and – most intriguing of all – a comedy-thriller starring the double-act you never knew you needed: David Duchovny and Jack Whitehall.

The Moonies: Married to the Cult – 2nd November

The Unification Church, better known as the ‘Moonies’, promised peace and unity through matchmaking and spectacular mass weddings. But behind the smiles lay a darker reality: billions in global assets, families torn apart, and cult-like control. Now former insiders dare to speak out, including Reverend Moon’s illegitimate son Sam Park, telling his shocking story for the first time.

Kenny Dalglish – 4th November

Kenny Dalglish narrates his own journey, joined by his wife Marina and closest footballing friends Graeme Souness and Alan Hansen and other fans. Drawing from hundreds of hours of archival footage, including never-before-seen personal clips from his playing career and home life, Asif Kapadia’s film reveals his remarkable story – a great player and an extraordinary, witty, and humble hero of Liverpool Glasgow, and the world of football.

Tyler Perry’s Finding Joy – 5th November

Shannon Thornton stars as Joy, a New York fashion designer whose talents are overshadowed by her boss. Just like her career, Joy has been unlucky in love. Encouraged by her steadfast friends Ashley (Brittany S. Hall) and Littia (Inayah), Joy follows her crush Colton (Aaron O’Connell) to Colorado, hoping for holiday magic. Instead, a shocking revelation and a snowstorm leave her stranded. At her lowest, Joy meets Ridge (Tosin Morohunfola), a chance encounter that transforms her perspective on life and love.

Maxton Hall – The World Between Us: Season 2 – 7th November

Those who fly high can also fall low…After their passionate night together in Oxford and her greatest life goal within reach, everything seems to be going perfectly for Ruby (Harriet Herbig-Matten). But a stroke of fate in James’ (Damian Hardung) family changes everything and James himself, of all people, brings her back from cloud nine to a harsh reality. Ruby is devastated. She has never had such strong feelings for anyone as she does for James – and she has never been so hurt by anyone either. She wants her old life back, where no one at Maxton Hall knew her and she wasn’t part of the elitist world of her classmates. But she can’t forget James – especially since he’s doing everything he can to win her back. Episodes arrive weekly.

Bat-Fam – 10th November

This new animated series follows Batman, Alfred, and young Damian Wayne – now having taken on the mantle of “Little Batman” – as they welcome a few new residents to Wayne Manor. Joining the family dinner table is Alicia Pennyworth, Alfred’s free-spirited grandniece; Claire, a recently reformed Super-Villain; Ra’s al Ghul, Damian’s adoring “Pap Pap” who also happens to be Batman’s longtime nemesis; and Man-Bat, who takes up residence in the Wayne Manor belfry. Oh! And let’s not forget Selina, the beloved family cat. This close-knit family of misfits navigate the fun and frustrations of ordinary life while protecting the streets of Gotham City. All episodes arrive at once.

Playdate – 12th November

When recently unemployed accountant Brian (Kevin James) agrees to a playdate with charismatic stay-at-home dad Jeff (Alan Ritchson) and their sons, he expects an easy afternoon of small talk and football tossing. Instead, he’s thrust into a chaotic scramble to stay alive as they are pursued by a ruthless team of mercenaries. Brian stumbles through one ridiculous obstacle after another, his zero tactical skills a stark contrast to Jeff’s oddly prepared demeanor. Director Luke Greenfield (Let’s Be Cops, The Girl Next Door) hilariously collides suburban dad life with high-stakes thrills.

Malice: Season 1 – 14th November

Jack Whitehall plays Adam Healey, a charming ‘manny’ who infiltrates the brash, wealthy Tanner family, in order to destroy them. Set in London and Greece, this psychological thriller is full of dark family secrets, manipulation and betrayal and it asks the question, why does Adam despise Jamie Tanner so much? David Duchovny plays Jamie Tanner, Carice van Houten plays Nat Tanner, Jamie’s wife, and Harry Gilby (Tolkien), Teddie Allen (Swallows and Amazons) and Phoenix Laroche (Trying) play their three children. All episodes arrive at once.

The Honeymoon Murder: Who Killed Anni Dewani – 16th November>

Offering a revelatory take on what has become one of the most enduring crime stories of recent times, The Honeymoon Murder: Who Killed Anni Dewani? explores the case of Anni Dewani, the bride who didn’t survive her honeymoon, and Shrien Dewani, the groom stranded abroad while the police and global media began questioning his involvement. Combining exclusive interviews with Anni’s family and Shrien’s defence counsel, mixed with archive including CCTV, police interviews and court proceedings, The Honeymoon Murder: Who Killed Anni Dewani? will take viewers on a journey of untruths and shifting blame, adding new information and perspectives as the story unfolds.

Kathleen Madigan – The Family Thread – 21st November

Kathleen Madigan returns to the stage with a new comedy special on Prime Video, Kathleen Madigan: The Family Thread. She’s the fun lady at the end of the bar with a lot of opinions and only half of the information. Comedian Kathleen Madigan’s new special explores gambling as math education, Midwest pioneers, her four cats, and aging parents. Her sharp wit tackles modern church competition while showcasing her mastery of crafting perfect jokes.
