Follow our #lastchancetostream hashtag on Twitter for up-to-date removal warnings for subscription VOD services, including Netflix, NOW and Amazon Prime.
You have until Wednesday 12th November to watch Episode 1 of The Walking Dead Season 5 for £6.99 a month.
The season, based on Robert Kirkman’s graphic novels, continues the tale of Rick and his band of survivors in a zombie apocalypse – with more of a focus than ever on the balance between being human and becoming a monster.
The show is broadcast on FOX in the UK every Monday at 9pm, within 24 hours of its US premiere. FOX is included on NOW, Sky’s video on-demand service for non-Sky customers, which means you can stream it live online, as well as catch up on-demand, without signing up for the whole Sky shebang. A NOW Entertainment Membership costs £6.99 a month and gives you streaming access to Sky’s major TV channels and shows (including Arrow Season 3, The Flash, The Newsroom Season 3 and The Knick), live and on-demand, with no contract.
But NOW’s subscription comes with a catch: more like iPlayer than Netflix, episodes for certain shows get removed 30 days (sometimes sooner) after broadcast. With The Walking Dead Season 5 now reaching Episode 5, Episode 1 is about to depart the streaming line-up – which means you have two days until you can’t catch up on the latest zombie action from the start of the season. And if you’ve seen Season 4, you’ll know that Episode 1 resolves one heck of a cliffhanger.
The Walking Dead Season 4 is also on NOW. That also has an expiry date: it gets taken down in 22 days. On the plus side, you get to watch two seasons of The Walking Dead for less than £7. One the down side, you don’t get to keep them.

Never seen The Walking Dead? Seasons 1, 2 and 3 are on Amazon Prime Instant Video, which costs £5.99 a month. You can read our review of Season 3 here – or catch up with our Season 5 reviews here.
