Netflix has released the first trailer for Better Call Saul Season 2.
The Breaking Bad Spin-off saw Bob Odenkirk reprise his role from the hit series, following his journey from small-time lawyer Jimmy McGill to big-time crook “Saul Goodman”. The show was a success, earning AMC’s second-highest-rated first season in cable history among 18-to-49-year-olds and going on to nab seven Primetime Emmy nods, including Outstanding Drama Series.
The series will return on Tuesday 16th February 2016 on Netflix UK, continuing the tale of Odenkirk’s descent from well-intentioned guy to bent criminal, with Season 1’s finale marking the turning point in his career. Having arrived at a fork in the road, will Jimmy take the straight and narrow path with a safe corporate job or will he fall back into his “Slippin’ Jimmy” con-artist ways?
Breaking Bad creator Vince Gilligan and writer/producer Peter Gould continue to serve as co-showrunners of the series, with Jonathan Banks returning as Mike Ehrmantraut, alongside Michael McKean as Chuck McGill, Rhea Seahorn as Kim Wexler, Patrick Fabian as Howard Hamlin and Michael Mando as Nacho Varga.
