Hot on the heels of Season 2 of What If?, Marvel is wasting no time in expanding its multiverse, with a teaser confirming that Season 3 is on the way soon.

The compendium of alternate timelines reimagines famous events from the films in unexpected ways. Directed by Bryan Andrews, with Ashley Bradley serving as head writer, each episode of the animated anthology turns the MCU on its head, leading the audience into uncharted territory by asking questions such as “What if Peggy Carter was the one who became a super soldier?”

Season 2 featured fan-favourite characters such as Nebula, Hela and Happy Hogan. Now, a new video gives us a first look at the next season, introducing an episode featuring Bucky Barnes/The Winter Soldier (Sebastian Stan) and Alexei Ivanovich Shostakov/Red Guardian (David Harbour). We see them driving a car trying to find a way through a checkpoint manned by Bill Foster, aka Giant Man, (Laurence Fishburne).

The clip simply says that it will be “streaming soon”, but with Echo the main big live-action series on the way to Disney+ this month, don’t be surprised if What If? returns to our screens in the next few months.
