Trailer: Richard Curtis’ That Christmas arrives on Netflix this December

“You talking to yourself again, Santa?” That’s the sound of Richard Curtis heading to Netflix for That Christmas – and a new trailer gives us a first look at the animated movie.
Based on the charming trilogy of children’s books by Love Actually and Notting Hill writer, That Christmas follows a series of entwined tales about family and friends, love and loneliness – not to mention Santa Claus making a big mistake and an enormous number of turkeys!
The heartwarming comedy from Locksmith Animation marks Curtis’ first foray into animation, serving as the film’s writer alongside Peter Souter. It is also the feature directorial debut of animation veteran Simon Otto (Love, Death & Robots, How to Train Your Dragon films).
Produced by Nicole P Hearon (Moana, Frozen) and Adam Tandy (The Thick of It, Detectorists), the voice cast includes Brian Cox as Santa Claus, Fiona Shaw as Ms Trapper, Jodie Whittaker as Mrs Williams, Lolly Adefope as Mrs McNutt, Alex Macqueen as Mr Forrest, Katherine Parkinson as Mrs Forrest, Sindhu Vee as Mrs Mulji, Rosie Cavaliero as Mrs Beccles, Paul Kaye as Yirrell, Guz Khan as Dasher, Andy Nyman as Mr Beccles, Bill Nighy as Bill and Rhys Darby as Mr McNutt.
