Think you’ve seen it before? Look again. That’s the tagline accompanying A Classic Horror Story, Netflix’s new horror flick that promises to be anything but.

Directed by Roberto De Feo and Paolo Strippoli, the film stars Matilda Anna Ingrid Lutz, Francesco Russo, Peppino Mazzotta and Will Merrick. It follows five strangers who end up in abandoned house a remote location – and, needless to say, things go wrong. How exactly, and how meta the film will get, is anybody’s guess. but the trailer certainly suggests it’s going to get very gruesome indeed, while taking in everything from Wrong Turn to Midsommar.

Find out what Italy’s answer to The Cabin in the Woods is on 14th July, when the film premieres on Netflix. Until then here’s the trailer:
