Netflix is assembling a Bake Squad to continue its efforts to recreate the recipe of The Great British Bake Off.

The streamer, which has already commissioned a range of cooking and baking contests from Sugar Rush and Nailed It! to Crazy Delicious, has now whipped up Bake Squad. In each episode, four individually brilliant bakers battle it out to see whose dessert will be chosen for someone’s extra special big day. These bakers have been personally selected by Milk Bar founder Christina Tosi, who built an empire on delicious cookie dough. For her next sweet trick, Tosi has built this team of bakers who have one mission and one mission only: make dessert dreams come true.

Hosted by Tosi, starring Maya-Camille Broussard, Ashley Holt, Gonzo Jimenez and Christophe Rull, and produced by theoldschool, the series premieres on Netflix on 11th August.
