Amazon will explore the heart of footballer Sergio Ramos in a new documentary this September – and a new trailer gives us our first taste of what the series finds.
El Corazón de Sergio Ramos, a Spanish Amazon Original series, will feature never-seen-before footage of the legendary footballer. Amazon Prime Video was granted rare access to Sergio’s everyday life, the cameras watching as he navigates his way through a critical time in his career with mounting pressure to perform on the pitch.
Football is unquestionably at the heart of the show, but the show also follows interactions with his family and friends to capture an intimate side of Sergio that the world seldom sees. The documentary will chart Sergio’s legacy from his beginnings in Seville through to his leadership at the national team and Real Madrid.
The eight half-hour episode docuseries is a production from Love Productions USA with the executive producers Richard McKerrow, Kevin Bartel and Lety Quintanar. It will kick off on Amazon Prime Video on Friday 13th September. Here’s the trailer:
El Corazon de Sergio Ramos is available to watch online on Amazon Prime Video as part of a Prime membership or a £5.99 monthly subscription.
