The Good Wife and Suits Season 5 return to UK TV screens

February: the only month worse than January. The weather’s still miserable, work has settled back into routine and the Christmas holidays feel longer ago than ever.
The good news is that fans of legal dramas are back in TV heaven this week, as both Suits and The Good Wife return to our screens. Both are familiar sights to Netflix subscribers, as the VOD service sets itself up as something of a hub for quality legal dramas (hello to Daredevil and Jessica Jones), but this month marks a chance for viewers to catch both of them for free online.
The Good Wife
Season 7 of The Good Wife started last week on More4, with new episodes airing on Thursday nights at 9pm – and available for 30 days following their broadcast on All 4.
The start of the seventh run sees Julianna Margulies return as Alicia, who is on her own and making deals with Louis Canning (Michael J. Fox). Peter (Chris Noth), though, is about to begin a bid to become Vice President of the United States, using the help of Alan Cumming’s Eli Gold and strategist Ruth Eastman (new guest star Margo Martindale). Other new faces this season include Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Cush Jumbo as Lucca Quinn, a rival attorney.
Episode 1 of Season 7 is available to catch up with on All 4 until 27th February, with Seasons 1 to 6 on Netflix.

Suits
Suits returns for the second half of its fifth season, following the Christmas break. The show airs in the UK on Dave, with new episodes on at 10pm on Mondays.
Season 5 began on UK TV all the way back in August 2015, with Pearson Specter Litt having scored a hard-fought victory, but one that left the firm shaken. She avoided jail time, but Donna (Sarah Rafferty) had left Harvey (Gabriel Macht) to work for rival Louis (Rick Hoffman). We won’t spoilt what happened in the following 10 episodes.
Episode 11 screened on Dave on Monday 1st February, with episodes available to catch up with for free on UK TV Play for a week after broadcast. That means you have until Sunday 7th February to catch up. Seasons 1 to 3 of Suits, meanwhile, are on Netflix UK.
