Season 2 of Amazon Original Series Tumble Leaf will land on Prime Video this December.
The streaming service’s original content for adults has been causing a stir this winter, from the controversial adverts surrounding The Man in the High Castle to the Golden Globe buzz surrounding Transparent. But Amazon’s kids content has attracted equal attention over the years, with the preschool series Tumble Leaf picking up four Daytime Emmys and the Daytime Emmy for Best Preschool Series, earning the Jury Award for a TV series at the 2014 Annecy International Animated Film Festival, the 2015 Annie Award for Best General Audience Animated TV/Broadcast Production for Preschool Children, and a 2015 Parents’ Choice Gold Award.
The stop-motion-filled show follows Fig, a delightfully curious blue fox, and his best, wiggliest caterpillar friend Stick, as they embark on nature-filled adventures and discover science through play. The series is created by Drew Hodges (Community) and executive produced by Hodges and Kelli Bixler (The Roadents) of award-winning studio Bix Pix Entertainment.
On vocals are Christopher Downs as Fig, Brooke Wolloff as Maple, Zac McDowell as Hedge, Addie Zintel as Pine, and Alex Trugman as Ginkgo.
All episodes of the second season will be available to stream from Friday 11th December, just in time for Christmas holiday viewing. Prime Video subscribers will also be able to download episodes for offline viewing on mobile devices.
