Richard and Judy are coming back.
The pair are returning to their old teatime slot on Channel 4 for Keep Reading and Carry On, a series that will reveal their best reads to help the nation while we are all staying at home.
The five-part fast turnaround series from Label1 is shot from their home, with the self-confessed bookworms joined virtually by authors and celebrity guests who will discuss new releases and share their top recent reads.
Richard Madeley said: “It is no secret that Judy and I are avid readers and we are excited to return to Channel 4 to share what we love with viewers. “
Judy Finnigan added: “Books can transport you to incredible places from the comfort of your sofa and so there is no better time to share our top picks for lockdown reads and hear from viewers, celebrities and authors about the books that have helped them while staying at home.”
Richard and Judy: Keep Reading & Carry On was commissioned by Daniel Fromm for Channel 4. Barnaby Coughlin, Simon Dickson and Lorraine Charker-Phillips are Executive Producers for Label1, and the Series Editor is Nicholas Steinberg.
It joins a number of fast-turnaround commissions from Channel 4, including Grayson’s Art Club (Swan Films), Kirstie’s House of Craft (Raise the Roof Productions), Dick & Angel’s Make, Do & Mend (Two Rivers Media with Chateau Television) and Jamie: Keep Cooking and Carry On (Jamie Oliver Productions).
The series will be stripped across a week, starting Monday 4th May at 5.30pm.
