Titled Oh, Hello on Broadway, the Netflix comedy special follows the duo’s successful run on New York’s theatre strip. The show revives the characters of Gil Faizon and George St. Geegland, outrageously opinionated, 70-something, self-proclaimed “legendary” bachelors of New York’s Upper West Side.
Directed by Alex Timbers, Oh, Hello on Broadway, is their “pull-no-punches memoir for the stage”. The part-script, part-spontaneous comedy that ran until January 2017. Now, producers RadicalMedia are bringing it to the screen. The special is directed and produced by Michael John Warren, with Timbers serving as an executive producer, alongside Dave Becky, Mike Berkowitz, Julie Darmody, David Miner and Christie Smit. Lisa Nishimura and Robbie Praw executive produce the special for Netflix, with Dave Sirulnick, Jon Kamen, and Justin Wilkes exec producing for RadicalMedia.
The comedy special will premiere globally on Netflix on Tuesday 13th June.
Oh, Hello on Broadway is available on Netflix UK, as part of an £9.99 monthly subscription.
