A new extended Homeland Season 4 trailer has landed online – and it looks to be thrilling stuff.
Season 4 sees Carrie Mathison calling the shots as the newly appointed Station Chief in Afghanistan, deploying every weapon in the Agency’s arsenal to fulfil her mission. But every drone strike and tactical raid comes at a cost and she soon learns the true price of power.
The Showtime series sees Claire Danes and Mandy Patinkin return as Carrie and Saul (plus Saul’s beard), alongside Rupert Friend, F. Murray Abraham and – new for Season 4 – Corey Stoll as Pakistan CIA Station Chief Sandy Bachman.
The show premieres in the US on Sunday 5th October with a double-bill of Episode 1 and 2 – so you can expect it to arrive in the UK soon after (last year, there was a one-week gap between broadcasts), complete with iTunes downloads as soon as it’s broadcast on Channel 4.
In the meantime, feast your eyes on the latest Homeland Season 4 trailer:
Saul’s beard. Dar Adal’s flat cap. It’s all there – and even a hint of Carrie’s cry face.
Count us in.
