Netflix is once again seeing out the year in darkly comic style with a new order given to Death to 2021.

Telling the story of a year that tried to one-up 2020, the comedy special is a documentary-style one-off that mixes archival footage harvested from across the year with commentary from fictitious characters played by such famous faces as Hugh Grant, Lucy Liu, Tracey Ullman, Samson Kayo, Joe Keery, William Jackson Harper, Stockard Channing, Cristin Milioti, Diane Morgan and Nick Mohammed.

You can see them in action 27th December, when it premieres on Netflix. Here’s a clip:
